A few days ago I sent in the paperwork for TWO M1 Garands from Government surplus. I am buying (1) ea - International Harvester ( excellent condition ) and Winchester Repeating Arms ( excellent condition ) . I have purchased FOUR others all Springfield Armory and one f those was chambered in .308 Winchester ( its not an M1A ).

I live in the Ozarks with no good alternatives for internet. I have Starlink and my latency is hovering at 25-90 ms. Up and down speeds are enough to enjoy this site and stream Rumble no problems.

I have gone back and forth now with my County Clerk twice and she states the records are sealed by the court for 22 months? I filed a complaint with the State AG of MO. I just got elected Precinct Committeeman too in the county. Trying my best to be involved!!
Might as well get my first post in as a lurker since Dec 2019. Started on PW looking for answers to the election steal. I was particularly blown away by Arizona going Dem.I needed answers and found 'The Donald'. Eventually migrating here as the content seemed more mature and organized. I am here daily looking/gleaning/searching for news. I retired from the Marines in 2013. Worked for SOCOM for 7 years and after that quit my job and moved to the Ozarks to relax/retire in 2020.. I voted for Gary Johnson in 2016 in the primaries and Trump in the general ( I saw that Johnson could not win and voted for the better of the two)l. I looked at Trump and thought of him as another Ross Perot. But the more he spoke and destroyed everyone in the debates the more I bought in. I am an atheist and pro-choice and VERY stubborn. Not your regular right leaning peep. I march to the beat of my own drum but respect what others have to say. I am happy that RvW was overturned but only in that I want the States to make the decision. I am trying to get back involved by running for my precinct Committeeman position. I dont want to.... but I am kinda tired of the bullshit that this country is headed for and the way it is run. Maybe I can help. Maybe not. I am willing to try.
Did anyone bother to call the County Clerk to verify that actual story and related facts behind this? I bothered as I am a Precinct Committeeman in a County in Missouri and this got me excited as to how I could possibly emulate this in my county. The facts are that this was a TEST for hand counting on a small local election for mostly education leadership positions. The Clerk was approached after the 2022 election by citizens and asked about removing machines from the election process She agreed to use the mid term 2023 election as a test. The Clerk made it clear to me that this did not work out well whatsoever. Without getting into all sorts of details I believe it failed due to lack of training and preparedness for a hand count. I dont think this is a failure in that it cannot be accomplished. But for a trial run and jumping in head first without checking the depth of the water caused a 'headache' because they were simply not ready. Everyone is ready to run with a 'feel good' story but nobody actually follows up and fact checks. The Clerk stated that she has not been interviewed and she didnt even know this was a story until last night. Im going to pass this on to a bigger voice 'influencer' on Truth Social to see if it can gain some traction emphasizing the need to make the transition SMARTLY. Not blind and without training. Perhaps the Clerk can provide some bullet points that caused the problems that can be addressed for future use.
