Yes, I know. That's great that you would suggest it. The fact that you're suggesting it means you hadn't tried it yet.
So stop trying antagonistic tactics like pots and pans and leaf blowers, and start suggesting more encouraging options. The sticker system is a great start. Keep thinking more on those lines.
No one said that I was trying combative ways of waking him.
Your reply to me was a combative solution though!
She is going to start waking him up when she goes out the door at 4:15AM and make him take a shower. Then we will see what happens. If not, he will be getting out of bed at 2 AM when she wakens and kept awake until the bus arrives.
^ How is this not combative?
You haven't tried everything else though. Just a few minutes ago someone suggested a more motivating and encouraging idea (the sticker system) that wasn't combative and you commented as if you hadn't heard of it/tried it
You are trying to use force and antagonizing tactics to get him out of bed. You need a totally different motivational approach
As a kid who was also a notorious oversleeper, it's because your child isn't motivated. I would take time to figure out why that is, and learn how to motivate them. Spraying them with a bottle or banging a saucepan is just gonna make everyone tense
I've tried this tactic before. You often can't get past the second question without them saying "I'm not going to spoonfeed you" or "look it up yourself."
No matter how kindly you ask questions, they'll come back with insults and hostility
He's talked about it for some time though. Here's an article writing about how he talked about term limits while he was in office in 2018
https://www.quorum.us/data-driven-insights/term-limits-in-congress/
People still support term limits even after he's spoken in favor of it
That line isn't the population, it's the growth rate.
That was during the baby boom of the 1950's in the US. I'd guess many of the other major countries having similar outcomes after the war ended and everyone wanted to screw again
efforts to deregulate
What were those though?
Like, I understand the theory, but you're talking about an irresistable carrot that caused a bank collapse without knowing what the carrot is. It's just not easy to see if there's anything to exploit that would have failed the banks, let alone if it was the actualy cause of the collapse.
Now, suppose Trump did the same thing with various policies? Banking, transportation safety, trade, etc? Would this not be far too great a carrot for adversaries to not try to exploit?
True…but what policies would have done this? To speculate further we would need to know what specifically would be the potential catalyst and how
If his mother tries the shower route, that is only trying another combative solution that will damage the relationship between mother and child.
You are their family. You should encourage solutions that can inspire positive results, instead of causing a war
