Body only can absorb so many proteins at any given time. You're attempting to spike free lysine in the blood. If that's diluted by other proteins, then you won't be able to get the max spike of lysine. The idea is largely to get Lysine up so it can reach max exposure to plaque and sweetly make love with that plaque, then carry it away. By removing the plaque, you're exposing the damage to the blood system to blood again. Before it was covered up and the body couldn't really do much with it.
