From Wikipedia (which I hate): "Early life and education - Rubin is Jewish and spent her early years in the New Jersey suburbs of Philadelphia, moving with her family as a child to California in 1968."
I keep seeing a recurring pattern......
Here's what you have to remember about BIT - anyone can post an article about anything. The articles are ranked in accordance with reader/viewer popularity. So yes there are interesting gems in "that turd sandwich" as one GAW pointed out!
Ah yes - the glorious days of tape/arrows on the floors of store aisles. I took great pleasure in deliberately walking in the opposite direction that the arrows pointed.
My fondest memory was of an encounter at our local Home Depot. They had tape on the floor (every 6') leading to each cash register. I was standing on the last line before the cash register. The distance was obviously greater than 6'. I was called out by the assistant store Manager and told to stand behind the taped line NOT on it. My reply: I'm good - besides I'm more than 6' behind the person checking out at the register. That wasn't good enough for the assistant manager. She wanted me BEHIND THE LINE. My reply: tell ya' what go get a tape measure - let's measure the distance from where I'm standing to the person checking out at the register......of course everyone was masked up except for me. Another masked customer chimed in supporting the efforts of the assistant Manager. I realized at that moment the power of lies and brain-washing...
I agree 110%! The Apostle Paul gives us the correct definition of what it means to be a "Jew" and part of the "Israel".
"For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; 29but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose [g]praise is not from men but from God." - Romans 2:28-29.
"For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed." Romans 9-6-9
It's been said that "you can't legislate morality". In reality that's the only thing you can legislate. Don't we have laws against murder, lying, stealing, etc? Isn't that morality? Don't those laws reflect the 10 commandants? At least in part? So the question really is whose morality will you legislate?
It's equivalent to "passing our children thru the fire" recorded in the Old Testament.
