We are all human beings and because we should know our truth but it's been hidden from us and we were lied to our whole lives, we internally know what's right but it's really hard to give something up that you rely on to get you through...like a security blanket. You have obviously recognized it and that's literally the first step to changing, so congratulations! I honestly think if you know this is going on, you should start up a hobby with groups of people who don't have the time or energy into using or abusing anything! I think this survivalist group I wanna join would be right up anybody's ally who feels this way! Watch the show, Alone and you will see what this group teaches you and does! I think it could be the exact medicine to get you through! You can always slow down and wean too. Nothing but love for you, fren! You can do it and when you can't, you can lean on us!
