Due to this, they voted to allow witnesses and extended the trial another day. Their plan was to have hearsay witnesses so they could effectively lie with no reprocussion. Lindsay Graham voted with the Dems to allow this in order to use this trial to raise up a different candidate. All that said, they opened a can of worms with this decision as Miller prepared a list of 301 witnesses. On the list were Nancy Pelosi, Kamala Harris, Chuck Schumer, DC Mayor Bowser, etc. Trump was going to use witnesses on his team to explain that he ordered the national guard the night before on January 5th, but was denied by said Democrats which proves innocence and puts them in the hot seat. They would get 2 hours of debate per witness causing this trial to continue another 604 hours for Trump's witnesses alone. Dems panicked hence the sudden decision to deny witnesses last minute.
Unpopular opinion, but I really feel Newsmax deserves a pass on this one. Dominion threatened to sue 1.5 Billion dollars, and it makes sense under that context that news stations would distance themselves from the topic for the time being. They are simply covering themselves legally, but that doesn't automatically make them traitors or shills. We should wait and see how they respond after Lindell shows the evidence to his allegations.
Although it is incredibly frustrating, I feel we can't really blame Newsmax for this. They are simply covering their tracks to avoid a lawsuit from Dominion as they haven't actually seen the evidence themselves. It isn't fair, but the crooked courts not allowing the evidence to be shown are to blame, not Newsmax
Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought an actual audit didnt happen there. That all that happened in Wisconsin was they somehow proved 200k mailins were unrequested which is contrary to state law. Then the Democrats argued their typical "blah blah, racist, blah blah, pandemic" rhetoric and it went nowhere. This forensic audit would be different proving definitively which votes were switched, which votes were fake or illegal etc. How could they argue out of that?
Based on what I can gather, the gist is that AZ legislator found out they have the power to demand a full forensic audit. They did so, and the election officials hired a team that wouldn't find anything in hopes of shutting them up. Due to that, the legislature hired an independent expert team led by Col. Phil Waldron. The election officials have done everything they can to prevent this audit, but have failed to stop it. The audit will begin Wednesday and take up to 10 days. This might really be it.
The argument my liberal friends tend to make is that it doesn't matter what the machines do because a hand recount would reveal the true number anyway. That of course would require an honest secretary of state and such, but they think I am a conspiracy theorist when I bring up the possibility that they aren't reporting fair recounts.
