Its still part of the United states, bound by the constitution. Any policies/laws that infringes on civil rights/liberties must be removed at any cost even if it entitles feds involvement. I think there has to be a balance of power between the two. We can't have one state go rogue just because there is a devolution.

Classic example is the whole aiding and abetting illegal aliens.

Good choice! You know, when they sent out the tsunami warning, I was feeling anxious inside (even through I was well outside the warning zone), but observing it I realized it was artificially induced, because I wasn't feeling a fear or any caution instinctively. Despite all the fearporn we hear, even from right wing influencers about Cali being not so safe place to be, I don't feel any such insecurity instinctively. As always, the best place to look for any warnings is our inside.

Did you take any action for the tsunami warning? I heard highway 1 was clogged that day because of people trying to evacuate.

I hear a tornado landed in Scotts Valley causing damages, way way south of SF. Did SF get any even traces of any tornadoes?

"Look here, not there"?

WTF do these weather warning systems even know about the weather these days? A few days ago a tsunami warning was issued and then cancelled after an hour. I see weather forecast here in San Jose consistently being wrong about rain predictions. Something is seriously fucked up!
