Just read about this. Setting aside the fact that we shouldn't even have mail-in ballots (thanks, Hogan), MD publishes early voting totals at the end of each day early voting is held, so truthfully I don't think it makes a difference. If anything, I think there's more opportunity for Dems (and anti-Cox Republicans) to manufacture ballots after Election Day where they can hide out at the local BOEs.
A side note about our governor's race: The Maryland GOP has raised ZERO dollars for Dan Cox (https://launchliberty.com/exclusive-mdgop-raised-1-156-million-for-larry-hogan-in-2018-has-raised-0-dan-cox/). Our state GOP has their collective craniums so far up their sphincters they can give themselves colonoscopies. There is a small part of me that wants to see Cox win and every GOP incumbent lose in MD. Dems have a super-majority anyway. May as well end some RINO careers while we're at it.
Wes Moore ducked out of 3 debates in MD thus far against Dan Cox, including one at Morgan State University next week. You'd think Moore would relish the opportunity to debate Cox at a Baltimore HBCU where he'd have the advantage, but nope. There is a televised debate set to happen October 12, which I have (metaphorically) circled on my calendar. Taking bets on when exactly Moore comes down with Covid.
I doubt this guy will ever give you credit. It may just have to be enough that he's aware that things are happening. It is so damn infuriating that so many only believe it when the MSM tells them it's okay to believe it 😠
Apparently you work with my husband. /s
In all seriousness, the MSM is a cancer. I think maybe the best way to redpill people is to show them all the examples of them lying and manipulating, rather than hitting them with the horrific truths immediately. That may be what leads to more people seeking the information they need to see. We break through the echo chamber and prove how untrustworthy the media is, then they'll be ready to hear more.
Faux News viewers may be the toughest nuts to crack, because so many conservatives have been suckered by them. I am still mad that I was once upon a time.
This is PRECISELY why schools' anti-bullying campaigns are bullshit. The second you accuse someone they don't want to punish, the victim blaming begins. Happened to one of my son's in elementary school, and I will never forgive or forget what happened.
Egads! Sadly this sort of thing has gone on for a long time, and in many ways the sunlight shown on these creeps in recent years has been a blessing in that they are getting caught. The virtual environment during the pandemic helped with getting this lecherous slug out.
Greatest lesson I learned from others' examples. My kids are who they are. I still parent (at least the younger one) and I still worry, but I know what their strengths and weaknesses are and interact with them accordingly. At least I try.
I am so very sorry. My friend's father suffered a similar injury in a motorcycle accident, but lived for a few years before he passed. He was bedridden and under constant care, and it took an unimaginable toll on his wife. You and he were lucky to have found each other, and he will be at peace with the Lord.
Update in the Washington Times...one of the female students reported being stalked by the teacher (he was also her coach). The parents filed a complaint with the U.S. Attorney, hence the reason for fed involvement. https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2022/sep/12/authorities-review-student-created-database-tracki/
So many of these cases are reduced to he said/she said making it difficult to prove. These boys were incredibly astute to get video proof of this behavior so the victims can be vindicated.
I don't know what's worse...promising to do something and then not doing it, or not even bothering to make a promise. They want to lose. There can be no other explanation.
So...do we honor their wishes and let them lose, or do we vote them in and show up at their doorsteps every day and demand action?
