I can agree with working on the farm in addition to getting basic education like reading & math. Most kids today don’t know hard work. Me & brother had to help get in the vegetables & peel, shuck etc. Also had to clean the house, pick up pine cones, cut grass & haul wood.

In a way I agree with this. However many people couldn’t read several generations ago. I’m 57 and remember as a child going with my parents to vote & even in the 90s some people couldn’t read. They use a poll worker to read the ballot to the non readers. So, not being able to read would have left a lot of people out of voting. It wasn’t their fault they grew up poor and couldn’t read. Especially in the south it was more important for boys to work on the farm instead of going to school. I’d think it was like this in any area of poverty 100 years ago.

I think you can still buy original Dawn. You are correct it’s horrible! It doesn’t clean as good and feels weird on your hands.

While Americans endure high inflation, soaring unemployment, and the enormous cost of an unprecedented illegal immigration crisis the Biden administration is dedicating $2 million to fight corruption in Mexican sports betting. That includes “crimes” such as match-fixing, betting and book making, illegal and legal gambling. The goal, according to a State Department grant announcement, is to disrupt the laundering of illicit proceeds by Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCO) while “undermining the integrity of sports at all levels.” Sports gambling is a vehicle of predatory betting, addiction, loansharking, and match-fixing, according to the agency’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), which is doling out the money to address the problem.

The U.S. government has long assessed that Mexican TCOs—drug cartels—are the greatest criminal threat to the country and that they are smuggling mass quantities of deadly illicit fentanyl into communities throughout the nation. Nine Mexican TCOs have the greatest drug trafficking impact on the U.S., according to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Among them are the Sinaloa and Juárez cartels, Los Zetas, La Familia Michoacána, Los Rojos and Guerreros Unidos. The TCOs maintain drug distribution cells in cities across the U.S. that report to leaders in Mexico and dominate the nation’s drug market. At a congressional Homeland Security hearing last year various federal sources in counterterrorism, intelligence and drug enforcement testified that Mexican TCOs have seized unprecedented control of the southwest border. This indicates that securing the border would seriously impact TCO’s prime revenue source—drug smuggling, not sports betting.

The State Department acknowledges this in its Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Mexico Summary, which says Mexican TCOs pose grave threats to national security and exacerbate the U.S. drug epidemic by trafficking heroin, fentanyl and methamphetamine as well as cocaine from Colombia into the country. The criminal enterprises also profit from fuel theft, human smuggling, extortion and kidnapping, the agency writes, adding that to confront the threats there needs to be a reduction in drug cultivation and production as well as secure borders and ports and an increase in drug interdictions. “INL strengthens our shared security by providing training and equipment to Mexican agencies to disrupt the movement of weapons, cash, and drugs,” the State Department’s Mexico summary reads, adding that “INL assistance enhances U.S.-Mexican coordination against transnational threats.”

Sports betting does not appear in any of the government’s threat assessments of Mexican TCOs, yet American taxpayers will fork over $2 million for this questionable project that aims to round up analysts, investigators, and prosecutors from state and federal units in Mexico’s notoriously corrupt government to investigate and prosecute financial crimes and corruption related to sports. “This can include, but is not limited to transnational sports corruption investigations, evidence collection and evaluation, bet monitoring and analysis, match fixing, theft of funds, embezzlement, etc.,” the grant announcement says. The U.S. will also fund the creation of a public media messaging campaign regarding corruption in sports and illegal sports betting, gambling and match fixing as well as a means to report the crimes to relevant authorities in the impoverished Latin American nation. “Major sporting events, including but not limited to, the 2026 FIFA World Cup which will be jointly hosted by the U.S., Mexico and Canada, will likely be exploited by TCOs to further their illicit gains,” the State Department writes in an apparent effort to justify its allocation. “Law enforcement in Mexico need robust, rigorous and independent training on how to combat corruption within sports and legal/illegal sports gambling markets.”

It is worth noting that American and Mexican nonprofits and educational institutions that apply for a piece of the grant cash must include a gender, equity and inclusion analysis that addresses the ways in which women, gender diverse persons and members of other marginalized and underrepresented groups might be affected by the work. That includes a consideration of their safe and meaningful participation. Finally, to strengthen the chances of receiving the award to fight corruption in Mexican sports betting, nonprofits are directed to describe how they will minimize inequities.

Hi, this isn’t a prayer request. Question about scripture? I can delete if this isn’t ok. What scripture has been helpful while going through grief? More importantly, not regular grief. My mom died in June and we didn’t have to typical loving mom & daughter relationship. I have no doubt I was loved! We rarely got along. However got along enough to have a civil relationship. Sorry, it’s a long story giving highlights. My concern isn’t grieving her. My pattern of grieving is things are fine and then several months ago it hits me hard. Also more grieving for the relationship I didn’t have & what could have been. My main goal is to get through it, processing in a healthy manner with out a severe depression.

Even if doctors were trained in nutrition it would not be helpful because the food pyramid is just a lie to get the population to eat more carbs and fiber & is what nutritionist preach. See video about the nutrition lies: The Corruption of Our Nutritional and Medical Guidelines Dr Chaffee Summary: Our guidelines aren't just wrong, they are corrupt. Even though Coca-Cola alone spends 11 times the amount of money on nutritional research than the NIH annually, it's not just the the Big Food companies behind it. Behind it from the beginning, and even founding some of the largest Big Food companies such as Kellogg's and Sanitarium Foods, lies another entity who has influenced the guidelines, the WHO, the McGovern Report, and even the curriculum of nutritionists and Lifestyle Medicine doctors. To find out more about these shady dealings and why you cannot trust even what is taught in nutritional science classes at major universities. https://youtu.be/qRmQb0LDd2s That’s a very informative video. Tucker interviewed the brother in a separate video before this aired. Linked below: https://youtu.be/vzRjkNYT-U8

These lunatics are taking dress up too damned far. Who in their right mind would accept this?! Especially if you have children.

This isn’t funny but I couldn’t help but laugh. I rarely drink now but I could really binge some chocolate or other sweets. It’s amazing the hold addiction has on so many people. I used to be a people person and can’t stand being around stupid people. I finally mind my own business when I’m out in the world.

I’m adding you to my prayer list. Seems like many of us here are dealing with some sort of addiction. (See my other comments here).

Please don’t give up hope. My dad drank until I was eighteen, 1985. He went to an alcohol treatment center in Charlotte NC for a month. A few months ago he told me he isn’t even tempted by alcohol. Ironically our doctor told him it would kill him. That doctor was a hardcore alcoholic. I don’t know why my dad even went to the doctor. He was rarely sick and never missed a day of work. Unfortunately he was a mean drunk and it took its toll on my family. If there’s anyone you can confide in when you can’t control drinking, please do so. In my teens I was an alcoholic, then weed. I’ll always be a sugar and chocolate addict. I’ve drastically changed my diet and can’t bring it in the house. I’ve been married thirty five years and in the past year is the first time I’ve felt comfortable talking to my husband. He knew but he’s not the type to get in your business and preach. It’s so refreshing being honest with him or anyone. I’ll be praying for you. Don’t give up on yourself. If you have to change your environment and let friends go that are bad influences do it. A friend that doesn’t want you healthy and happy isn’t a friend! I’ve learned over the years most people I called friends were not in the relationship for me. Blessings to you fren.

We found a dead dried up tiny frog in our vacuum recently. I’m just thankful I didn’t find it live. I blame my husband. He must have been raised in a barn because he doesn’t shut a door when he’s in and out of the house working on something or grilling. The flies know when it’s open also. I’m not beneath hanging a fly tape in the house😂

Comfrey is a great herb. It should not be applied to broken skin or wounds. It could seal the infection in the body because it works so fast. You might already know this, posting in case others are not aware.

I’m very sorry your family is going through this. A parent should never have to go through such an ordeal. Addiction is a terrible life! Much of my dad’s family are recovering alcoholics or it killed them. My mom abused pain medication and it was rough on our family. I completely understand addiction, it’s so hard to fight. I’ve been an addict since my teens. First alcohol, then weed & after that sugar & chocolate. I can’t bring it in the house. I don’t have control. It’s crazy because I have always had control with anything I do except this. I’m praying for your family and brother in law.

What kind of injections did your friend get?

I have not found anything natural to stop the pain. I have nerve pain, arthritis. Osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. I have a few herbal salves that helps move than anything else. If you need resources for herbal salves and tinctures I can give you links to the small businesses I buy from. Arnica is supposed to be great for pain. I find more relief from cottonwood bud salve. I’m not familiar with Lupus treatment or symptoms. In my research I’ve seen articles about it. It’s possible antiviral herbs would help. Maybe ivermectin, I’ve never taken it and can’t advise if it’s helpful. I’d think diet would have a big factor.

As an autoimmune disease, lupus occurs when your immune system attacks healthy tissue in your body.

Get on a supplement site and research. That’s probably the best place to start because so many “self help” content has false information. We live in a world with too many experts making videos and blogs.

Check into this: I don’t know if it will help repair damage. This is great company. I did hear from several good sources the collagen supplements on the market is a waste of money. Also so many supplements are synthetic. And, many supplement companies are owned by big pharma. I don’t have a list right off hand. Research carnivore diet I’ve seen many regular people say it’s healed their bodies. It can’t heal significant damage like bone, disc and joint injuries. I believe it’s possibly different for each individual. So far it hasn’t healed my chronic conditions. The worse your damage the longer it takes. It’s not for everyone and it’s hard at first.

FYI: don’t buy natural medicine books on Amazon. I read they are changing information and taking out pages in popular herbal medicine books.

As far as teeth look into mineralizing tooth past or powder.

Redmond Life Earth toothpaste and powder is good. Citrus and charcoal are my favorites. I think you have to order from third party sites like Amazon, etc.

I like Living Libations, it’s very expensive for what you get. The company has high quality products.

David’s toothpaste is good. The mint is very strong, if you don’t like mint get another flavor.

Also oil pulling is supposed to be good prevention.

I feel the same, I could have never written how I feel as well as your words. I feel a sense of calm that I haven’t felt in several years. However I don’t want to get complacent because it’s not over. The BH’s will continue trying to win and brainwashing.
