I live in CT. The storm referenced in this, Tropical Storm Isaias, happened on Aug 4th. It was crazy when it happened but it doesn't make sense to me that this would happen today unless.... Idk man. Got my popcorn ready.

When I google Military bases in the US, Two of the 4 states listed via Wikipedia show ARNG designations. Army National Guard maybe it’s a coincidence not sure.

A YUGE helicopter flew over our house about 10 minutes ago. It's dark outside so couldn't see it clearly but that thing was ginourmous. My husband said he thinks it was a Black Hawk. Once a group of military guys flew one to our farm to pick up crawfish for an officer's retirement party. Forgot to add, we live in south Louisiana.

Not that I remember. There was that one storm that was supposed to hit AL and GA when the media got wrapped up in Sharpiegate. And the surrounding gale made its way pretty far north before dying. They thought it would come all the way up the coast.
Yeah, I can't think of any major disasters in any of those states that made headlines or stole attention from Covid.

We got heavy rain and wind back in late October from one of the hurricanes that made landfall in Florida and inched its way up the coast. From that, we took on some water in the basement. Not aware of major damage or destruction.
They are for storms from a few months. Why would he declare emergencies now? FEMA handles emergencies. After Chad Wolf resigned the other day, FEMA is now in control of DHS. FEMA also has almost god-like powers in an emergency. They control the National Guard. 1st and 2nd amendment are suspended. They can take out zero-interest loans. FEMA is going to be in charge of taking in all of the corrupt politicians.
Why these particular states? Is Durham ct and Huber ut? I thought it because data storage in the most. Any thoughts?
