Try and remember to check in on our neighbors who live alone or are elderly when the time comes. If possible, buy a bit of extra food or basics just incase they need it. We are called to love our neighbor after all.
A close family friend - an emigre from Russia - told my wife tearfully that all her mother can do is watch CNN and cry. I’m trying to slowly redpIll then. My wife is redpilled now - she is watching the Q Proofs video, though the narrator puts her to sleep. KEK
Yup, just made a store run today to pick up a few last minute things (including a bottle of Larceny bourbon. Inexpensive yet really good bourbon) We're good for the next two weeks. Even picked up another box of popcorn just to be on the safe side :)
See, you say we always have that, but if you go to a store in my area when a hurricanes on the way you’d think the entire city hadn’t seen food in a week...
I'm on coastal South Carolina, most people are fairly prepared. There's always people after certain things like plywood and batteries at the last minute, but it works out.
Yep. I have been doing the slight edge with the preps for a long time- couple of cans here, flashlights and batteries there. Not the craziest awesome stash but on our way!
I have tons of camping and outdoor gear built up over the years. Almost all of it, from hiking stoves to lights are all generally useful for any emergency.
I don't know much about storing rice in buckets. I would think ziplocs are fine, I have used them to store other food for long periods of time.
It’s really weird- like you can’t find a water bottle for a week before, people line up at 6 in the morning to buy water- HAVE THAT AT YOUR HOUSE ALREADY. One of our beds has nothing but water under it perpetually for this exact thing + Sawyer.... get some cases and just store them at your house! (Cheaper per Oz by the bottle and easy to store than the gallons where I am)
Do you have suggestions for the best non-perishable meals/food to buy?? Most of what my husband and I eat is refrigerated/frozen so I want to stock up tomorrow just in case
Just my experience from living in Florida and dealing with hurricanes - bottled water/a good water filter is invaluable.
Assume you will not have electricity - no refrigeration/freezing and no microwave. Canned vegetables and soups. Bars. If you have a grill or firepit you can boil water on, dry rice and beans can also be good.
I know a few people that work at A major battery company. They’ve been Told they are mandating 6 days a week and every other Sunday. There must be a pretty big demand coming.
I manage a grocery store and people are waking up and preparing. (Awesome way to red pill people daily) I also found a Q WWG1WGA sticker on a cart handle which thrills me. They must have seen the WWG1WGA MAGA stickers on my car n let me know I'm not alone. God bless all my fellow anons for keeping me strong and in faith!
I feel like a broken record. I’ve been saying this. Even if we don’t lose power, it won’t be safe to go anywhere due to riots and possibly worse. Do yourself a favor and get any last minute items this morning. I went to a grocery store in Tampa yesterday and certain items were gone (bottled water and paper goods.) I think people are waking up. MSM is not advising people like they should but those in Military and law enforcement know something is imminent. Law enforcement is on high alert and I know this from a direct source in Tampa. I expect today people to be rushing to stores and important supplies cleaned out. I’ve been through this enough times with hurricanes supplies - they clear out fast.
Fewer people out and about means fewer casualties and fatalities by riots, false flag events and possible CCP attacks. I expect quarantine-like conditions soon. The weekend is here -it is advantageous to order lockdowns to start soon. Nobody in school, fewer people at work makes for less traffic and order. The time is NOW to get what you need to survive without going to the store for a couple weeks.
Do we still go to work? I’m an one of those essential workers in health care. Just checking. I don’t want to be stuck at work and not get home when SHTF.
The average household has 10 days of reserve. Patriots should have at least 30 days of reserve food and water. Preppers have at least 6 months or more.
I’m new to all of this... could someone explain why people in small towns in the mid west should prepare. If all the excitement is inDC and big cities, will power be shut down all over? Why is that? Curious
Possible power outages in major cities due to military ops. Less likely in rural areas but it is still possible. But-for safety sake-plan on staying home for at least two weeks. Riots, mayhem, panic, looting, false flag events and possible CCP attacks.
Also to add-if things go awry in DC-the I95 corridor will be shut down. If that happens-forget about any supplies for the East coast, Southern states and Florida being delivered in a timely manner.
FYI there are Red Cross and similar emergency radios that have hand crank recharging features. You can recharge your phone with them as well as am emergency radio. It came in super handy in the field training for extended periods. They’re relatively inexpensive. Saw one for $24 just now online. Look in electronics and camping areas in stores or online.
Also-if you have space in your freezer-freeze zip lock bags full of water. If the power goes out, you’ll have more time before everything melts. Squeeze water bags in everywhere there is space.
Sterno can be found in camping supply and houseware areas of stores. Couple bucks a can. Also charcoal is readily available still if you have that type of grill but small camp grills well be sufficient to boil water. Stock up on charcoal if you don’t have a generator and can’t afford or find one. Last hurricane, propane was next to impossible to find during the hurricane watch period.
All this. I would like to add that uncured wood (green wood or new wood) is very hard to burn. Doesn't produce much heat. If forced and you don't have a cured wood stack (cord wood), you should try to find downed trees. They should be cured enough if they fell about 6 months ago. Just a pro tip.

You made a few names pop into my head.
And they’ll be the first to try to exploit you if things reality get hot.
Your post history indicates you might be serious and not disinfo.
I was just about to let the thru...
Yesterday while shopping I saw a BASED patriot stocking up on nothing but gallons of water and pork rinds.
That was me
BASED.
How could they be anything else?
Keto diet
H.M.F.I.C.
JK this sounds like a "my dad works at nintendo" post.

MeToo
Noice!
Was it specifically for the next ten days or for ten days starting on a specific date? Also, context a bit.
You should always have at least ten days of food. Get it if you don't, regardless.
Down in hurricane country, that you wouldn't have a few weeks of food on hand would be completely baffling. We always have that.
See, you say we always have that, but if you go to a store in my area when a hurricanes on the way you’d think the entire city hadn’t seen food in a week...
The food you have for ten days is usually non-perishable. Lots of times people buy out perishable foods right before, because they taste better.
Not these people lol
I don't know then. I guess there's always the people that understand they should do something, but don't do it.

Also, if I am putting rice into a 5 gal bucket do I HAVE to use Mylar or can I use ziploc?
Just south of Louisville KY here, sounds like what happens when snow is in the forecast. Even the smallest amount makes ppl flip the fuck out.

I've got the food. I'm always packed for food, batteries, supplies etc. I wanted specifics on the post.

These preps are good to have no matter what. Chance favors the prepared mind.
Have heard from other Military members with a heads up also
Yes!
Most can fast for 10 days. I’ve only done 7,6 and 5 and 3 days many times.
I’m not saying it’s easy but it’s not as hard as people think especially if forced to do it.
So if anything have water and you’re good.
Get extra propane tanks if you have a grill. You can cook anything on a grill even if it's in a pan.
Literally doing to fill tanks tomorrow and possibly a propane indoor heater
10 days starting when? Tomorrow, today, the next day?
I get skeptical when OP doesn't answer questions.
Maybe OP is out shopping. ;)

should I buy a generator, or is that overkill? I live 20 min from clown city

Are you in an urban area?
Trying to find out as well.
Will natural gas lines be working?

What state

The faucet does not run on electricity.
We've all been told that so many times that we now have food and batteries for 80 days.
any tips on best food to stock up?
Canned goods. Rice when stored properly. Doesn't hurt to have salt, sugar and dry herbs on hand either.
Don't forget, you will need a way to cook. Outdoor propane "boiler". I used it for 3 months during some renovations at my house. Worked great.

Get an AXE and machete. You can burn wood.

With a username like that I have no reason to doubt you
Good info
