This has been on my mind all day. One of the craziest things we’ve seen during this whole production. I can’t make sense of the people on the observation deck. HIGHLY speculative but is it possible that these crimes, arrests, etc. that MAY be happening are being recorded for all to see (at a later date)?
What if they were they hidden in the tunnels. And with the NG (and other military) blocking the outside tunnel entrances, the only way out is thru the WH front door?? With police escort and witnesses on the bleacher-thing, praying the good guys got them out and to help and safety.
Also, remember when Melania and Barron didn't move into the WH right away. Maybe safety was an issue.
