I just got a call from my mom today. She was mildly sick a few days ago. Turns out my uncle got covid (confirmed) and she was exposed to him early in the week. She was freaking out and getting tested today. Here’s the gist of the conversation:
Her: “I just got tested, I’m worried I may have it”
Me: “Don’t you want a positive test? It would mean that you’ve overcome covid with virtually no problem. You can stop worrying, now you’re immune”
Her: “No, They say if you get it you can still catch it again”
Me: “you may be susceptible to other flu viruses, but the odds of getting covid-19 again are extremely slim. Plus, even if you did, your body seems to handle it with little effort. This would be great news”
Her: “No it wouldn’t! It’s still dangerous, I’m high risk”
For context, she’ll be the first one in line for a vax when it comes here because she thinks this rushed to market synthetic concoction will give her immunity, but exposure to and overcoming the actual virus would not. She just wants to be scared. This person literally paid for my science degree but won’t listen to any information that varies even slightly from the narrative. It’s tremendously sad. Please pray that she and the others wake up to these lies.
She is 100% fine physically. It’s her mind that needs help.
Maybe the prayers were requested for her to break the fear cycle and start to see through the lies and manipulation.

Glad to hear it. I am a critical care doc and have seen Chinavirus jack up a lot of people. I'd sooner take the medicine than risk getting symptoms. It's only five days. Usually well tolerated. I know a few people that have had relapses and go from bad to well to bad again. Yes the media amps up the fear factor, the government does too, but it is a bad disease in some people with risk factors and age. It only kills a small percentage of people, but it can leave lasting symptoms and why not mitigate the risk of landing in that 1-4 %? Best wishes to you and yours fren
Ty, and really appreciate it. We’ll keep an eye on her but all signs point to her being almost completely asymptomatic. Where we really need help is on finding a solution to pry her away from CNN.

Look, she's most likely going to be fine. It's going to be uncomfortable though. The soreness is insane.
My mother and step father got it and they're fine, but the soreness and chills that came from it were terrible.
The problems aren't extremely common, but they're common enough to be a cause for concern -- even more particularly because they want to keep you getting doses every 6 months or whatever.
I'm sad people have been lied to so badly. Honestly, I think that seeing Fiachi swinging from the gallows for crimes against humanity will be the only thing that sets some people free of the lie.
She should be drinking green tea a couple times a day and taking Vit D as well as a Zinc Sulfate tab of 30mg or so up to 50mg. Google safe doses for age if you are concerned. Vit D & C are very helpful, the tea and zinc should reduce the viral load.
I feel for ya both my parents believed in the china virus and they both supposedly had a positive test, We had mild flu-like symptoms but we all are just fine and ages were from 73 to 2 yrs old and I and my fiance are mid-30s. They have said the same thing about getting it twice which even the CDC says is very rare!, I bring up how a doctor tested a kiwi and a couple of other things and had a positive test the CDC even now admits their test is faulty! Mainstream media sources even admit that getting the virus will make you more immune than any of the deadly vax out there! I would show her all the people dying after being happy to get the vax!
Keep an eye on her blood oxygenation levels. You can buy a little device at the pharmacy that goes on your finger.
I am not giving medical advice but I had COVID and realized that the key is making sure to watch blood oxygenation. Anything below 93 is dangerous and the person should be admitted to a hospital. My experience was that I was breathing, which makes one think they are fine, but in reality I was not oxygenating my blood. If you are not doing it, a person can just slip away. Not something you can know without the device.
Tell any kid when they get a flu and they've never had it before that there is a high chance of death, and they'll believe it 100% and their feelings throughout will confirm it
My sympathies.
It's been made very clear that the vaxx does not guarantee you won't get it nor will it prevent you from transmitting it to others. Maybe if you got a copy of something official that states that she might rethink? That and some info re: potential adverse reactions? I've seen videos of what "can" happen and it's scary. I'd rather my mom take her chances with the virus and she's 92.

This is literally a media-induced mental disorder now, kind of hypochondria but with a basic ass common cold with a 99% survival rate.... it's fucking insane. There is so much you can do. Tell her to take vitamins C, D, E, and a few other supplements to just strengthen the immune system, and to not watch TV, or go on facebook, and not fall into the fearmongering because fear will just weaken her immune system. It's a crazy world we're living in, but you can only save those who are ready or willing.
My mom got two tests this week.
Both were negative.
Told by her doctor to proceed like she has it.

My 90 year old mother was diagnosed with Covid between Christmas and New Years day...She went into the hospital on Thursday, and Sunday the hospital called and said come and get your mom, she is driving us crazy wanting to go home.... It is not a death sentence...
