Looked for this comment and glad that the unreliability of imgur has been highlighted.
It was created back in the day by the same people behind reddit, for hosting images on after all the other image hosts they used failed or go over-bandwidth and show broken links. Subsequently, imgur has been known to mess with and delete content that paints leftists in a bad light.
Imgur’s website is cancer, it doesn’t even do its main job of hosting images well.
