I wouldn't be one bit surprised if they nail this subject right on the head. As a former Mormon is was astounding to see how much the South Park guys knew about Mormon history. So many members thought "The fuck are they talking about? That didn't happen. We never believed that. What?" And then it all turned out to be spot on. They did the same thing with Scientology. The guys pay attention, and aren't afraid to hit weird and controversial topics square in the face.

I always thought they claimed libertarian, which really fits what the show is. No one is safe, especially if they have obvious flaws to pick at. The show isnt about a left or right leaning talking point narrative. Its about shitting on what needs shitting on, and roasting the shit out of all the rest.

I felt like a knee has strained almost to the point of bending from the last special. I've always loved Matt and Trey's ability to shoot on most issues; however in recent seasons the laser focus for ribbing on the pretentious and the elite has taken a back seat to Randy Marsh, the gimmick. (Kills me to say that, because aI thought this was America!)
My guess is it is a hitpiece, but I don't care. Any press is good press.
