When the judge is bragging to the jury pool about how great our justice system is, you speak up. “You mean like the the Supreme Court refusing to hear the election fraud cases and dismissing them as moot?”

Unless you have a legit reason to not go to jury duty GO for god's sake . We NEED people on the jury that aren't paper weights who would convict a ham sandwich.
This is the ONE area we still have control over.
Oh ha, if they find out you're conservative they'll steam roll you. If the judge doesn't like your verdict, will he even support?
I just got out of jury duty last week in Spokane. It's all online due to hoax pandemics, so we got a questionaire and i was a huge fucking asshole on it, asked if the case was BLM, asked if i could wear my maga hat, and basically said my mind is already made up on 99% of issues thanks to last year's farce.
Jury duty is one way to take our country back, one court case at a time.
Yep, nullification.
Awesome , this is going to be my response, thanks!

???
HAHA! My first jobs were Dicks Drive In & Ridpath (1980s). LOVE how you handled that!! I would have done similar.
Mine was busboy at red lobster ???
Good times!
I would actually do jury duty and vote as I want, fuck the law as its written. There is right and there is wrong and god damn I would love to impose my views on the court. Like letting someone off for say shooting a BLM/Antifa or something.
Oh and this is called 'jury nullification'. If the court finds out you know your rights to this on a jury you will be quickly told to fuck off.
You don't mention it until after chosen If you would want a Jury then you should serve on one..
Yea if I am called for it I will serve on it if asked. I would lead them to believe I would vote strictly by the law.....but I would simply use my own moral judgement. Like for example say if a guy beat another to death for killing or raping a family member and the law says he should have let the court handle it and is guilty under the law. Well, not guilty by me :)
In my county a man tracked down a guy that stole $25,000 from his truck. They could not find enough jurors that were willing to convict a parson protecting their property.
You should try to be on the jury if you get jury duty and you can handle missing a few days of work. If you get a gun possession case you can just vote not guilty because second amendment, or other things for example
I understand, it’s tough though. The last one I sat on was for jail rape. The case dragged on for over 3 weeks ( no pay) , never again will I sit on a jury , until I retire.
Yea last time I went I was not employed and got $40 for the day, but i guess that doesn’t cut it if you work and the job doesn’t make up the difference (i heard some do)
Yep , at the time I was raising 5 school age kids☹️ It put a major financial stress on us , as I was the sole breadwinner ( I worked piece work)
That’s a lot of kids good for you. Raising kids is more important than jury duty, abd based on being here, I would bet you raised/ are raising them well. This is the reason why democrats control everything because people need to work instead of being election workers, etc. If we can pay all these people for being irresponsible grifters we should be able as a country to appropriately compensate people for doing their civic duty. Or alternatively government hours should be the opposite of private sector hours. I.e. courts and the dmv are open 5-11 M-F and saturday and sunday all day
That is actually sound reasoning ?
Oh okay. That would be a good reason to go-- protect #2a
And don't forget this, the judge will NEVER tell you about jury nullification but it's one of your basic options as a jury... to nullify the law in a particular case of judicial overreach and abuse. If you believe someone is being railroaded, just convince the rest of the jury to nullify the law in that case. You can't eliminate the entire law, but for that one case you can. It REALLY pisses off judges and prosecutors when a jury does that.
Jury nullification, people. Go to Jury duty and pray you get selected. If you don't like the law being disputed, nulify it. They are so scared of this that they will arrest your ass if you petition for this little known concept infront of a courthouse.
Insert Mark Twain quote: "The worst thing about being on trial, is that your fate is in the hands of twelve people who weren't smart enough to get out of jury duty."

That sounds more like George Carlin than Mark Twain :)
people are dizzy with all the circling back
I love jury duty, you learn things about our Justice System and Society sitting there.
But mainly I love it because it is 'my' chance to help keep it between the ditches. We desperately need honest citizens to be jurors, most jurors I've sat with are inner city lower educated folks who have no ability to follow complex arguments or evidences, and often times they vote based on color or other affiliations, trust me.
Last jury I sat had these two hispanic females, both were attitudinal, one had argued extensively with the Judge about not wanting to be selected. But both of them did swear they would uphold the law based on evidences presented. Trial was a black guy living with a pregnant hispanic girlfriend , he was busted selling meth, had a lot of meth in the car. He claimed he didn't know the meth was in the car, said he had just recently bought the car. Nothing he said was true, we discovered during the trial, he was obviously guilty of the single charge plus a lot more he was not charged with. The two attitudinal hispanic females both admitted he was guilty but didn't want to punish him, one said her brother was a drug dealer and she understood, the other said she didn't think selling meth should be criminal.
We adjourned that day, next morning the one hispanic female came in wearing a Che Guevara shirt, yes she did, and was refusing to punish the guy, we already knew the court had offered him a plea bargain of 5 years prior to trial. We wanted him to serve time, but Che kept saying no, probation is all she could agree to. I had to call the bailiff and explain to him that both the women told the court they would follow Law but now look at Che, she refuses to honor her Oath to the court. He went and fetched the Judge, the Judge saw the shirt and was not amused, he explained to her she swore to follow the Law, she had already voted guilty and so now she would either sentence him or he would hold her in contempt.
Sorry long story but that's why we need honest citizens, far too many cases end up with no justice because of that kind of stupid shiite. If you don't participate then you have very hateful low informations inner city ignoramuses deciding matters, NPCs really.
Show up, stand up, be counted.

just wear a MAGA hat....no one will want you there dispensing 'justice'
I've been a victim of a crime which immediately disqualifies me per any defense lawyer.
Mrs Puffitt got a jury summons last week. She got exempted because I'm old and "high-risk group." Fuck that I wanted her to sit on a gnarly murder trial.
We need MORE Patriots on juries, not fewer
Thanks. I’ll remember and tell the judge to stuff it.
"Only god can judge" "Jury nullification:
Use both and you wont be a juror
We want anons in jury boxes. But yeah, that'll get you kicked out.
lolol
If you really want a ticket, you're going to have to step up your driving a bit.
