In Manhattan Beach, CA, they issue $1,000 fines with plenty of snitchy karens on standby at every public park, and even the beach itself. Disgusting, but there it is. Even if you can avoid it, they hassle you no end. In LA generally, you'll have a difficult time buying groceries. I can see people trying this excuse, and there's lots of other funny stuff you can do, like a mask made out of lace and junk like that. It's a mess out here in Cali, but the resistance is growing.
Went into my bank sans mask and after 5 steps was asked by teller if I had a mask. I answered “no”. She politely handed me a box with cheap little masks in it. I said “Thank you”, took a mask and as I was pulling my wallet out of my purse shoved the mask in my jacket pocket. I asked her to help me withdraw from my savings account, she did so while carrying on a pleasant conversation, gave me my money, said “Have a nice day “ and I told her the same. I think some of the people working just do what they are told and don’t really care what other people are doing . They just go along behind their masks, gloves, wiping everything down with disinfectant and cleaning all the pens, counters and plastic barriers to keep their job. My daughter quit her job 2 weeks ago when her Manager said “you don’t look well. Maybe you should get a COVID test.” She didn’t as she has lupus, autoimmune disorder and sometimes just feels and looks rundown. She went back to work 2 days later and was asked if she got her test results. She said she didn’t take the test, she has taken Hydrocychloroquine daily for the last 10 yrs for her RA so very remote chance she would have COVID. She was told not to return to work until she was tested. She refused and said she was “politely resigning “. Since then she has made 2x the money from doing “door dash” & “Uber eats” deliveries. We are not sheep!
I've started sticking an obvious mask in my shirt pocket and conveniently forgetting to wear it.
It's obvious that I have a mask and am not wearing it.
If I get politely asked to wear it by someone doing something they don't want to do, then I'll politely put it out of respect for the business.
But I'm going to forget to wear it until politely asked.
Just say "no thanks' if anyone mentions a mask. Be polite and they normally leave you alone. If you get any objections just keep saying no thanks and keep walking.
The battle is in your mind. I used to be very conscious of the whole mask thing (I don't wear one, except when I have to take my mom to the hospital ). Now I rarely think about it. Of course I libe in the heartland where most folk are friendly and mind their own business, so that helps.
See: Kirk Douglas, Paul Newman, Danny Kaye, William Shatner, Lauren Bacall, Tina Louise, Eleanor Parker, Natalie Portman. There are many other well-known actors who are Jewish, most of which have by someone or another been classified as striking enough to make it on the big screen.
Hey bud.
It’s a joke.
Pay attention.

I use door dash all the time! It makes me feel good to know that my laziness is helping other people make a living during this mess. ?
Please send her my heartfelt thanks! <3

“Put the mask over your nose”

Just say I'm wearing a mask off sanity
I identify as wearing a mask. ?..Can't see it but it's there.
How about a nice informative leaflet to hand out to anyone who clearly doesn't have the Right information. ?

Jews can be beautiful too.

Until they're older.
They definitely have an expiration date
As if Germans look any better at 90.
I'm thinking more like 50s to 60s
No but it's nice to be polite and say it
Some of the women are at least
If they’re real, they wouldn’t be wearing a mask.
