I believe so much of this is about absolutely destroying the corrupt Leftist totalitarian media.
I like this meme, but I rather envision the breaking dam being labeled "Media Lies", and it'll be the Media Whores that get washed away into brutalized oblivion, and the presently-unawakened masses will be huddled, shaking on the surrounding hillsides, watching this as saying to each other "OH SHIT!"
That's the second time this month I hear about mega-churches being this huge conspiracy/scandal, yet I'd never heard of them before then. Could someone kindly tell me what's going on with mega-churches?

Unbiblical sexually immoral behavior (whether illegal or not) does happen in churches.
I do not know the ratio of how much of this is trafficking vs. not trafficking.
I suspect that most 'trafficking' takes place among higher population religious communities. This would include mega churches, larger (but not quite mega) churches, camps, parachurch organizations.

At the core of these defensive measures is what can only be labeled as sin and the thinking of the unregenerate mind. The mentality becomes worldly. There is a fear of consequences, including loss of respect, loss of reputation, people leaving because the leadership failed. So a cover-up ensues; a cover-up like that of King David who killed Uriah the Hittite to hide the fact that David has committed adultery with Uriah's wife and got her pregnant. It is fear of the consequence of being honest. An assumption that the false good reputation is the only way out.
All to often, when a person has an area of evil, of moral failure in their life, the response is dishonesty. Dishonesty with either an unwillingness to address that same issue in others, or coming down hard on that issue as a cover for one's own sin. It is difficult to remove these people from religious organizations.
Others are attracted to the religious life, though they are not actually Christians. There are those within these denominations who have attained key positions of leadership and control and who are using their positions to support all types of deviancy and evil in the church and in the nation. This is sadly evident in the Southern Baptist churches; churches I used to affiliate with. When I see the endorsement of all types of sexually deviant behavior by these people in positions of authority, it would not surprise me at all to find that some among them are involved in trafficking.

As sad as it is to hear that some mega-churches are involved in human trafficking, as someone who's been deep in the Pizzagate rabbit hole since 2017, nothing shocks me anymore. I only pray that this madness and sickening degeneracy come to an end soon, and that the victims can be rescued before it is too late for them.

None of this impacts my confidence is Christ Jesus, my knowledge of my own sin, the clear teaching of Scripture on salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ and His life - works - death - resurrection alone. It is just the working out of the the warning that savage wolves would creep in among the redeemed of God and thus the need for vigilance. ~
P.S. There was a book put out a few years back by T. Craig Isaacs titled "Wolves Among The Sheep". It is more practical then purely theological, but may be valuable to some. I have no stake in sales of the book.
Thanks for your thoughts, I fully agree that none of this impacts the validity of Jesus Christ's teachings. Human institutions can be corrupted or infiltrated by evil because they are just that - human. But none of this reflects on the Christian faith and the One True God. As you say though, it is up to us to remain vigilant.
