No. DDG uses mostly Bing and a couple others. You are thinking of Startpage which uses Google results.
Oh you're right. I just looked it up. I vaguely remember they were using Google when they first came out. Now it looks like they are using a combination of sources and google doesn't seem to be in the list .

It actually says none from google. I recall a long time ago (2012?) google was included in their sources but looks like it's not true anymore.

So much for their "logic." If there are more men than women CEOs, it's not a stereotype, it's a fact. I'm sorry, Google, if you don't like that, but sometimes the truth is an ugly thing.
You could, however, help to change this fact by, ahem, putting a woman in as CEO.

This whole thing is so stupid. More men have the desire to be CEO's than women. So the pool of people who WANT that sort of job is already skewed to be more male dominant. Many women want to work a job so that they can also have a family (that they are able to see and spend time with). And I'm sick of people saying that that is a bad thing. God made men and women different. He gave us different gifts and skills and desires. And while there will always be exceptions, I know very few women that would ever want to have a high powered executive job. The morons on the left refuse to accept that the majority of women have different priorities.

I always end up on yandex. Same search string gets me the info I'm actually looking for and not the revisionist bullshit google is pushing at that point in time.

It's intentional. When you tell a child "don't run," they run. They never hear the word don't. If you intend on quitting alcohol, you tell yourself what you want to do such as "drink water" and not "don't drink beer." It's how I knew they were Up to no good and likely an asset to 3 letter agency.
