Look at the newsweek photo that someone posted earlier - It's just a fold in the leather in her boots. They aren't really galoshes like the freeze-frame appears to show.
Yeah you don't run the mic wire all the way down your leg and into your boot. Bluetooth ones are so small there isn't even a black box anymore, they could use Airpods even for interviews.
I didn't see the interview, but I can tell in the picture that her dress is really long. She may not have realized that it came up. With the boots, she couldn't feel where the hem was sitting like you can if you have bare legs. So while it's possible that it was intentional, the fact that she was wearing a long dress as if to cover it up leads me to believe it may have been an accident.
Do you know if she had that wireless microphone box thing on and where that was located?
You know the black box that some tv people have clipped to thier waste or bra straps?
I work in Film and TV. Have for 2+ decades.
NEVER have I ever seen someone hide a wireless mic or ANY audio equipment in someones socks/shoes. For MANY technical reasons.
This aint audio equipment.
Same - very very weird. If anything the transmitter would be placed behind her waist - opposite side of the camera.
Oprah’s people are vigilant about her image, this is a strange thing.
Thought the same. However it’s obviously an accident check her clothes...whoopsie?

Not inside her shoes for sure...? Edit:typo

Yeah they usually hide their mics in their ass because that's where they do most of their talking KEK
Wouldn't a holster be on the outside of the ankle? And accessible (i.e.not completely covered up with tight form-fitting leather)?
Seems almost like she's signaling others to run.

Yeah it doesn’t make sense that it would be anything used for the interview. It looks just like what it probably is, an ankle monitor.
she's so big, might be hard to spot. under all those rolls?
