Quantum computers don’t do classical computing. Managing a banking system would not require a quantum computer. Also, a satellite only relays information, no need for a “quantum satellite” to handle that kind of process.
Those are good points but I think have compatible satellites no matter the capacity would be important when rolling out a technology along the lines of this. I don't think from what was written there that the technology relies or is hinged on the satellites

But it would be fun, though, as mortgages can be introduced in those currencies, and savings accounts. Your salary could be in a third, connected to gold or silver or both.
Just as in Switzerland with the Frank and WIR, or in Albania and Poland with local currency and Euro. These currencies balance each other out, when pressure in the market is great enough.

Also, certain gold and silver account providers use a system a la paypal. An email address is enough to move some gold or silver from one account to the next. Or, you could simply order delivery. All within the bounds of 100% reserve.
So, it seems like we already have the infra to move away from a debt based system. The problem is government (taxes)

From what I've heard and read, It refers to the way that language is used in contracts referring to time.
The idea is that contracts that we use are written in a way that mixes up past present and future when describing the terms of the contract and that is a big part of leaving loopholes to exploit the system and legal confusion that makes the fraudulent system stand like a house of cards.

It still leaves the possibility to sell the title of the gold to more than one person at at time and no way to take delivery on physical gold, you pretty much have to be able to take physical delivery of the backing asset for a currency to not be a scam, like you could go trade your crypto token that backs an ounce of gold with anyone for an ounce of gold with no middle man or "global guarantee account supervisors".

Many of today's security algorithms are vulnerable to things like Shor's algorithm, which can render their security ineffective once quantum computers are available.
Also recognize that "quantum" and "quantitative" are completely different words, even though they sound similar. Calling something a quantitative algorithm does not mean you need a quantum computer to do it. You can run the entire financial system today and in the future on classical computers, and simply use protection and encryption that is secure against future quantum computing attacks.
I will say nothing about all the mystical, metaphysical things that people have piled on top of this. A financial system is just an accounting methodology. It says nothing about the ethical standards of those who decide how to apportion resources. Any system can be made to be good or evil depending on who is operating it.

You need ubiquitous, reliable wireless coverage if you are going to implement a complete digital currency as they describe. That is the reason for the satellite buildout. Terrestrial lines can be intercepted and blocked by bad actors with physical access. Satellites can also be jammed of course, but jamming signals can be detected and destroyed...even from space if necessary.
Understand you do not need anything quantum. That is just a marketing strategy and a red herring. It is incidental to what they are doing.

sorry to be picky, but satellites are not limited to be relays or routers, they can be used for any purpose that an earth based computer can do.
