My son is NG, I’m glad they didn’t take him over to DC. He spent 4 yrs active duty Army in Germany, then went to NG. That could have been my son there right now.
I had few buddies that went to either national guard or reserves and switched their MOS, they will never live it down ever, I like to text them randomly just solely to talk shit, it makes them feel loved and thought about
Because if you never served you wouldn't get it. Its a consistent trash talk (friendly) between all branches and within the branches what job you do but its all in good fun and no matter what your job is would never wish ill or death on another service member no matter what, so shame on you thinking any service member wishes illness or death on another. Just proves you have zero knowledge of us service members both active and vets and should watch how you use your words.
Not true. My Brother served overseas in Bosnia and Iraq. But he also served in LA during the riots there.
There are guard units that are very active and some that are not. just gotta know which ones are which. My brother is now retired from the guard, but he was always seeking to join the active guard units.
And executed.
National Guard may not be the troops who go overseas and fight, but we should protect them too.

Yeah but for some reason other branches mock them every single time I try to praise them and it gets old ?

Still, does the trash talk need to happen every time someone praises them?
Because that's how it often has been the past few years.

It shouldn't matter where you're stationed if you defend your country.
