Y’all, I’m crushed. My mom and grandparents got their first poke. They’re all comprised with health issues and believe it to be necessary for themselves.
What are your thoughts on the moderna vaccine?
I'd be happy with Moderna. I won't touch AstraZeneca. I am not an anti-vaxxer, but as a healthy 46-year old, I'm not in any rush to get my shot either. I will happily wait for Moderna or Pfizer or J&J over AstraZeneca.
Honestly this is like calmly discussing which brand of firearm you'd like used in your execution. Missing the point entirely.
There is NO VACCINE NEEDED for a "disease" with over a 99.5% survival rate and a ready cure (HCQ) that's been proven safe over 70 years and costs next to nothing. The dangers of the vaccine, like those of the mask and the lockdowns and the antisocial distancing, far outstrip the danger of the virus itself.
"MORE CASES!!!" = 85% false positive tests, deliberately made so by cycling the test beyond the 35 cycle maximum, up to 40 and beyond, in a desperate attempt to show a positive result; people dying in motorcycle crashes are labeled as dying of covid; flu, pneumonia deaths are conflated with covid; 85% of people who contract the virus were wearing the mask constantly.
NO PANDEMIC LASTS OVER A YEAR, PEOPLE. WAKE UP!!!
Actually the spanish flu lasted nearly two years.
Spanish flu was caused by giving the military and the surplus public too many vaccines after the war.

Acktschyuwally, if it happened now a hundred years later it wouldn't last years because med tech and knowledge have evolved .in the past century somewhat
My parents got it and are fine. If there is any issue with vaccines, it typically shows up in 2-3 months, but they're fine so far.
My mother got really sick after her 2nd Pfizer dose. 102 fever, could barely get out of bed for a day. SIck for total of 3 days. She is super healthy normally. None of her friends had any reactions. I sure hope that they are actually safe and not what has been published. It has bothered me that Trump supported them, even as recently as CPAC.
That means the vaccine did its job. Being sick for 3 days means she would have probably been on a ventilator if she had Covid. I would choose being sick for 3 days over being in a hospital and possibly dead.
Vaccines have historically been fine, but people politicized it so business owners could stay open. It created a movement against the vaccine, and articles about .001% people having reactions became the running narrative. Eventually, Trump and everyone realized that this was a mistake (that's why you are seeing conflicting arguments).
The reality is that vaccines pass through THOUSANDS of tests before they are given to the public, which is why the majority of people are fine.
You are literally telling your ribosomes what protein to make. The problem that I have with this is that the process is called translation.
The mechanism of the vaccine is to introduce the spike protein instructions for your cells to get "hijacked" and produce spike proteins of covid. Your body then catches it and creates antibodies that mark it and then are stored in the B cell.
During the process of reading the instructions, what is called a "frameshift mutation" can occur. Your ribosomes read mRNA in series of 3 and produce a codon that then makes a tRNA grab an amino acid and make a chain. The problem is that you can miss the first of a series of 3 and essentially shift THE ENTIRE CODE creating a completely different protein. You can possible make proteins that can cause disease.
Now you can argue that this error can happen during our own translation process, which it does, but I am not trustworthy and confident enough that we are actually able to consistently create viable mRNA without error that our body wouldn't misread. I am much more trusting of a attenuated or part of a virus be injected and my body create its response off of that rather than my cells get hijacked to create proteins.
Thanks for that!
It’s a simple matter to me, there’s not enough evidence to convince me I need the vaccine. I’m not an anti vaxxer either, if it was Ebola running amock Id be in line and willing to risk side effects.
However, the way they are blackmailing people by threatening to remain locked down until vaccinations for what amounts to a bad flu virus pisses me off. Now they’re talking about yearly boosters for otherwise healthy adults, it’s a scam of epic proportions and you are fostering it.
With viruses, the more fatal they are the less they spread. Ebola is at one extreme - highly lethal, but therefore self-limiting in spread, because it is a poor survival strategy for a virus to kill its host. The common cold is at the other extreme - not fatal at all, and endemic everywhere.
This coronavirus is in the dangerous sweet spot - able to spread, and able to kill.
So the idea that it isn't all that dangerous is itself a very dangerous idea. It is extremely dangerous, as proven by the fact that it has been a deadly pandemic which has killed some 2.65million souls.
