The article says Biden 'inherited this disaster'. I beg to differ and note that Biden's reversal of Trump's policies created this disaster.
How can they honestly believe that people will say that this is because of Trump’s policy (per CNN in the article). At least one thing the media kept repeating was that Trump was racist and wouldn’t allow immigrants in. This will backfire on them.
It will only backfire on them if millions of people suddenly develop critical thinking out of nowhere.

Sometimes It seems like these “conservative” news sites are really controlled opposition. If you read the article closely it is blaming President Trump. There is a statement the problem started in April 2020 and that Biden inherited a mess. Neither is challenged by the author. But they are cleverly in quotes so they can say they were just reporting what someone else said. The effective angle on this story is Joe Biden has created a humanitarian crisis that is enabling human trafficking of unaccompanied children. Period. Nothing else needs to be said.

That's because the author is just reporting the facts and not spewing his opinions, whether they're right or wrong? Not a bad thing, if you ask me.
I agree with your point that it would be a good thing if journalist just reported the facts. Charts showing monthly illegal border crossings in total and illegal unaccompanied minors in our custody over the last 12 months would let us judge for ourselves.
