He is "Sundowning" which is what many Alzheimer's victims do in late afternoon. Wandering usually or standing still muttering.
I never heard of it either until my mom mentioned it during a scene of the movie "Robot and Frank" (quite good movie actually) where the main character Frank starts having one of his dementia episodes and completely forgets where he is and what he was doing while talking to himself until his robot helper snaps him out of it. Partway through his monologue she said "oh, he's sundowning."
It’s a real term. My fil has last stage Alzheimer’s and in the afternoon his mental, emotional and physical abilities are greatly diminished. That’s what his doctor called it.
I think about things like this often. I have Lupus and a debilitating disease called DermatoMyositis. Both autoimmune diseases. There has to be a CURE instead of these awful toxic prescriptions I take for SYMPTOMS. It’s so frustrating.
Check out Dr. Ken Berry on YouTube (I know, I know). Here’s a link. He treats lupus and other auto immune disorders with keto & carnivore living. Might be worthwhile for you to check out.
Thanks!
It's a real thing.
I first heard of it on the movie The Visit.
It is true. My father had Alzheimer's. Evenings became a bit difficult. I helped take care of him and my mother(still do her). He would be good most of the day, but come evening he was a bit of a handful some days.
He's also on top of the building too. Two places at once.
I see that, too! At the top of the pillars! WTH???

He’s wandering-off again...GET THE NET!!!
Thinking about his role of a lifetime coming to an end?

Those doors and windows are quite tall. Heck a bunch of the ones in my office building are like 8 feet high, probably to make it easier to move cubical components in and out.
Marine at doorway?
