That's how it looks to me as well. Wish I could understand everything that is being said. From the intensity of the voices, I gather that they don't understand why it's veering toward the side.
The tug boats are there to guide the boat through to prevent this kind of stuff from happening. For it to collide with the tug implies a severe steering mishap. Kind of like a train going off the rails.
Yes... it was the wind from a sand storm... even though there is no sand blowing. If you look at the flag on the evergreen, the wind isn't moving much. The trees don't seem to be blowing in the wind.
It's also funny that no other ships seem to be affected by that "sand storm", nor are there any big waves in the canal.
Now THAT is quite a slow-motion shipwreck. It's clear that the Ever Given was taking on water, if you watch the painted (orange) waterline mark in the first part of the video, it becomes submerged later and you can't even see it. So in effect, it was "sinking" although the shallow depth of the canal won't let it submerge completely. So it now is just a derelict ship. and if it's resting on the bottom, it may take a long, long time to clear it.
I read it was a sandstorm that “blew” them off course. Looks like it was steering off course, either deliberately or malfunctioning.

I see no wind
That barack paint job looks fresh.
Exactly what I thought too
So, it first collides with a tugboat? Is this a problem? Then they try to turn the container ship around?
I don't understand what is happening at all.

Doesn't look windy enough to have blown the ship aside! Reminds me of "controlled flight into ground." The voice said pilot was on board.
also reminds me of Biden "blowing" down the stairs the other day
wow wtf, thats ALOT of containers
How come this got scrubbed
I guess the pipeline across Syria must happen now?
That is a shitload of containers.

Wonder if they’re calling for a plumber
