Now, as more information comes out about these vaccines, and more people begin to get them while still being forced to live under these lockdown mandates, people on both sides of the aisle will begin to become upset, eroding their public support for their plans. This means they have to continue to ramp up their efforts sooner than they would like. On top of that, big tech will have to work overtime to censor opposition, perhaps overplaying their hand and leading to alt-tech platforms emerging.
The DS has a conundrum. They will want to roll out vaccine passports next year, but if lockdowns are over and the vaccines are "safe and effective", and the numbers are going down as a result, they will struggle to get public support as lockdowns and mask mandates are lifted and people start to get back to normal.
