I think it depends on whit which eyes you approach and read it, for me under certain aspects has been more valuable than a pot of gold, i'v been tru it like 3 times i think, it makes senses and confirms many things i was knowing / reading and hearing about, explains a lot about them and their personality, history of the world / mankind, their ultimate goals, and so on, and a thing i learned is, we can hate them as much as we want for what they did to mankind during thousands years and are / will do, but they indeed deserve respect for the cultural level and specially knowledge they have, and also, sadly he's ultimately right when he says that they just created a system that fits our laziness and lack of knowledge
We sheeps (generally as people) came to life on their system and never went back to look at who we are and why we are here, few ones went for the true knowledge, and even less applied it, that gave them an almost infinite power and allowed them to hide everything and build the matrix of lies in which we live, but still, freedom is outside the door, if you start your path to search the truth and you find the key to unlock YOUR reality, then you'll be the maker of your destiny and you'll be able to leave the system and grow (this last part is basically the awakening, once you start to realize what is going on)
