Big Launch tomorrow at sunrise ( the best time for viewing ) of the manned Falcon 9. I'll be sipping coffee and watching it from the porch ;)
I am in Stuart, and I see launches that are aimed at a southern trajectory. Shuttle launches were always visible and I still see the Delta IV heavies when they fly. I dont know which direction (besides up) the Falcon/Dragon tomorrow but I'll be on the deck with my coffee too. Cheers!
I watched a few of the Apollo launches from CC when I was a youngun.
Just watched one of the most beautiful launches EVER. Massive corona developed after First Stage separation. The booster spiraling down through the expanding cloud and the second stage and corona could be seen all the way down range until it disappeared over the horizon.
The corona cloud took on the shape of an angel with arms outstretched. I'm not kidding, the thing looked like an angel or dare I say it, God.

Where I'm at in Canada, that kind of money will get you a 1 br. 600 sq ft. apartment. I wish I were American. I'd be down to live in Florida.
It's just the area, it's a small town with not a lot of traffic, mostly locals and some snow birds, the property values differ a lot from different regions of the state.
