I thought deporting Mexicans was racist?
Damn! Not Trumpo!
I love DeSantis. He's so much better than that other guy would have been. You know, the Democrat who got nekkid with his boy-toy and passed out from all the drugs (of which there are many impossible-be-deny pictures with parts of him pixelated)? DeSantis is killing it. The Democrats are done here. Florida will NEVER be a blue state.
Ssshhhh, remember were not supposed to talk about Hunter Biden remember?
Oh wait, we dont work for CNN, lol!
I forgot. Never mind, carry on.
………and the licks keep coming! Go get em DeSantis!!
DeSantis is a damn gem. My aunt lives in Florida and she is still living free.
How will they enforce it? We're Florida they're California.
CA can't afford to give a fuck if it were financed.
the state can go after property in the state.
Now do the average US citizen...
Wait. You guys still have Facebook and Twitter?
I use FB to engage with many liberal family members and friends. Many have muted me but I find that some are checking in to see what I'm putting up. I probably put up about 6 good articles from here, using primary sources that they won't ignore (e.g. not FoxNews, Breitbart, etc...) One who was very loud-mouthed about Trump for 4+ years doesn't post anything in support of Biden.
I haven't had one of the many liberal family members or friends admit they were wrong (I was right) yet so I don't have a lot of hope for normies right now. They are very typical anti-Trump, progressive Democrats.
If they really want to piss them off and test them, add that the fines must be paid directly to the person being barred!
Gotta love Florida
I don't like how its just for politicians. I to have been politically persecuted by Twitter, and reddit of course.
Retroactive to trump
Haha, yes! Glad to see the government finally getting involved in the affairs of private businesses!
Vacationing in Daytona...masklesseven though some still cucked and some businesses still chucked. Hardly any though.
Those fackers need to be sued out of business...
In super glad they’ve passed this - but that amount of money is less than a drop in the bucket. I’d like to see them hit harder, or in ways that disrupt their ability to do business in the state.
Florida is way ahead of my state though (AZ)
Does this affect Trump? He's a resident of Florida isn't he? He's not currently in office but I assume this includes candidates for office and possibly previous elected politicians?
It affects him only if he runs for office in Florida.
25k a day is nothing to FB....
Per Politician per day? I’d see that working.
Just 25k per day for any/all and they’d figure they might as well ban every one.
I dunno, on the one hand seeing twitter and facebook punished makes me feel good, but on the other hand I don't think our politicians should be treated as higher class citizens with special protections.
Except this bill allows posts to be removed for violating TOS, and while you can't permanently ban, you can suspend an account for up to 14 days. So, all a social media site has to do is suspend the candidates they don't like for 14 days, wait for their next post after the 2 weeks are up, and suspend again, keeping it up as long as they like without any penalty.
Maybe I'm wrong, but this bill seems like a giant virtue signal without any real substance.
Theyre already doing that. I think i have maybe a month total unbanned between 2 accounts.
My main account comes off a 30 day.not even 15 minutes later, another 30 day.got off that one, lasted a week,3 days for a post from last year. Then account disabled cuz of a news article.
My 2nd account is in 30 days 3 days after ending a 30 day.
Thereby making my point that this bill is useless.
Laura Loomer makes the same case. GOP is mostly controlled opposition. Is DeSantis too?
It doesn't seem like it at this point. We'll have to wait and see, though, still far too early to tell. He seems like, if anything, an opportunist, with mild conservative values -- but again, we really don't have enough information. Whatever he is, he's certainly a politician.
Should be more, this is pocket change to these giants add two zeros.
I have been temporarily banned on Facebook for speaking out against BLM, Wuhan Flu vaccines, and in favor of scientific research about HCQ and ivermectin. We need a Florida politician to do the same.
9 million a year.
