Really. I don't really use syrup much except as part of recipes, but I'll go for that authentic maple syrup. Comes in a glass jar kinda like a moonshine bottle, just worth the price.
Yeah man, one of my uncles saps in upstate NY and they give everyone in the family a bottle for Christmas every year. The fake stuff is gross.

Agreed that she's fictional, but that shouldn't matter. Her role is really no different than Aunt Jemima's.
Aunt Jemima was black. "They" also don't like that she was called "Aunt." "They" equate that with Uncle Tom.
"They" have no clue at all about life in the South. Down here, when black people were really close to you like family, we called them Aunt or Uncle So-and-So.
We did this for white people too. My wife occasionally mentions an Uncle _____, who is no kin at all. He just lived a couple of doors down. We call any other older people that we know with the titles Mr. or Miss, as in "Mr. Tom" or "Miss Mary."
We are respectful here in the South, and the rude Yankees don't understand that.
My mom growing up had a black lady take care of the house & cook too because my grandma had to work. Her name was Priscilla & she was like a second mom to her.
I guarantee someone's aunt is racist, therefore "Aunt" is also racist.
Having said that, I am not sure how it works. If two things are racist together do they cancel out or is there a gestalt effect where it becomes super racist.
Or, because it is a "cancelling" that cancelled Ms. Jemima, does that cancel the cancel of the racist racist? Does that make it regular racist or no racist or super DUPER racist?
The problem with understanding racism and woke culture is, when you throw all logic and reason out the window, it doesn't make sense to anyone.
Maybe that's why they just call everything racist. Its just too hard to figure out otherwise.

When my cousin was in college her boyfriend left the cap off of the Aunt Jemima and went to class. When they got home they had "Ants" Jemima, it was full of black ants. It always gives me a good laugh
