Does anyone know if you have an ankle monitor do they occasionally switch which ankle it's on?

Heard they did that to No Name to screw with him. He was using a boot to hide it and they switched on him so he'd have to switch the foot he had his boot on. There a pics where he switched feet his boots were on and because of shirt buttons and sports jacket buttons you could tell it wasn't a mirrored image.
Why does it switch ankles?
Either mirrored image or they switched it regularly to prevent her from hiding it with a boot?

The ankle monitor isn't mainly used for home confinement. It is used to track peoples movement. Its usually to verify you stayed within a certain area whether its your home town or the whole state. They can tell whether you have been to the bar or if you were somewhere a crime was committed.
