However, we are people who are supposed to be engaged in critical thinking. We ridicule people who don't. We ridicule people who ridicule "conspiracy theorists" when those people don't bother to even look into the ideas.
I think Flat Earth is a CIA disinfo con job, and I have dismissed it in the past. I might have checked it out for a few minutes, but I have never seen anyone put forth a real argument as to why it is worth really considering.
The thread on Ghost Ezra brought up the idea that he promotes FE. It's one of the reasons I am suspicious of (but yet entertained by) him.
The one thing I don't want to do, though, is claim I am a critical thinker and yet have a knee-jerk reaction to something I don't agree with.
If anyone has evidence, I will take a look. So far, I haven't seen any in this thread -- and that is interesting in itself.
How about you? Do you shoot down ideas you don't agree with just because you don't agree with them (like the sheep do), or do you engage in your own critical thinking?
That is the reason for this thread, which is also what Q has always encouraged.
Q is centered around a plan to free the United States and the world from control by globalist elites that manipulate people through the media. There's more to it but that's the brunt of it. You can use critical thinking to tackle any issue you'd like, from flat earth to what the best brand of shoes is or anything else. The board isn't about critical thinking at large, it's about Q. I'm saying this is the wrong board to ask this question because it's off topic.
I easily shoot down ideas I don't agree with when convincing evidence hasn't been provided. I engage in critical thinking when it's warranted. I haven't seen anything from flat earthers that makes me want to delve deeper or entertain the thought. Even if the theory of a flat earth were true, it wouldn't change my life in any practical way and therefore is so far down on the priority list of things to be concerned about that I'll most likely never bother.
To find the curvature of the earth you would go miles times 8 inches squared. So 3 miles times 8 inches is 24 times 3 again is 72 inches. If you are under 6 feet tall you can't see a shore like that is 3 miles or more away from your shore line. Except you can. The longest picture in the world is over 2 miles below the curvature of the earth. Over water btw, how can you see it. The bible says many times the earth is flat. Reread genesis and think critically
On the math side, I’ve looked and looked and never seen this math refuted. If someone can clarify that the math is wrong that would make it so easy to settle this.
On the experiment side.
I’ve heard the argument that you can see the boat go over the horizon, but I haven’t heard why you can then see the whole boat again with a high powered telescope.
On the Bible/spiritual side that speaks for itself
On the cabal/hollywood side they sneak it in to some movies and shows the same way that parents make inside jokes about Santa Claus
One thing that really made me think was mapping out flight paths on a globe and then a flat earth map. It makes sense why planes fly across the planet the way they do if you map them out on a flat earth.
That being said, I don't think the earth is perfectly flat but I also don't think it's a globe flying though space. I don't have a conclusive, this is it mindset on this, I just don't believe the globalists on anything anymore.
From the stuff I've been working on (Q future from now) everything we've been told is a lie. These people are smart on paper and they have zero 0 zilch zada street smarts.
So I'll ask it like this:
Who drew the map?
Why does the World Health Organization's logo depict a map of flat earth?
From people intheknow say Antartica encompasses the world and retains the oceans with a giant ice wall.
Treaties in the 60s of the world powers agreed Antarctica is off limits...
"Antarctica encompasses the world and retains the oceans with a giant ice wall" Well yes. If you look at the globe from the Antarctic it does encircle everything. So what? It's still a globe.
I have been prodded to look at the flat earth theory a couple of times and each time I have made a mental note to do additional research when I have more time. I was intrigued with the map that all pilots use when flying that indeed looks like a flat earth map. In addition, the flight path of planes and the distances were something to check out. I find it interesting that all nations have agreed to not let any citizenry go to Antarctica (except for some scientist in specific areas) as supposedly Antarctica is the ice wall at the edge of the flat earth. It is quite easy for me to believe that NASA (not a space agency) is behind keeping this secret. There are other things that are interesting as well but this is getting long so I won't go on. I just think it is an interesting theory to research more.
I do want to add that the most interesting reason for me to look into the flat earth comes from the Bible itself where it is stated that the stars were placed in the firmament and much more about the "firmament."
I find it interesting that all nations have agreed to not let any citizenry go to Antarctica
That is not accurate.
A few years ago, I looked into taking a trip around the world, and setting foot on all 7 countinents. There is (or was before the current situation) passenger ships that will go there for a brief excursion. I wouldn't want to go very far inland, but setting foot on it is/was possible for anyone.
You believe aeroplanes are real, right? Aeroplanes can fly to the edge of space. Aeroplanes can carry other planes that can fly into near space. sigh. I'll certainly entertain the possiblity I'm wrong. But if there is no space, then what is outside your flat earth bubble, or whatever? Nothingness is still something.
I think it's worth at least considering because in school they taught us we go to college well be able to have a home and a life. That wasn't true. They taught us in school about the immune system but based on covid facts the immune system isn't real. I'm still working on shifting my globe taught thought and trying to visual the sun and moon movement on a flat earth.
Gravity holds our oceans to the earth while we rotate at 1000 mph on out axis... fighting the infinite vacuum of space... I can’t create a vacuum with my mouth and lungs and drink through a straw..., no issues
Also what’s protecting our ever weaker atmosphere the higher you go against said vacuum of space?
Every person ever involved in the "round earth circling a sun" theory going back 100s of years, and NASA, belonged to societies that likely worship Satan and vow to deceive humanity.
Not saying the earth is flat but I doubt we know the truth.
Only if they were, you know, looking. Apparently we automatically close our eyes when we get to the edge of the world. I guess its kinda like sneezing.
Earth is a created realm - not necessarily flat (plenty of altitude changes), but definitely not a meaningless ball spiraling millions of miles an hour in a billions of years old void of creation and destruction.
The spinning ball has two primary characteristics:
You're spinning
There's ultimately a curving downward and away from any position you're at, given enough distance
Both of these are obviously untrue and any meaningful declaration otherwise is based out of misunderstanding of either the theory around the ball or the opposing viewpoint.
That said, I don't spend much time worrying about this stuff anymore, but it is life changing, for sure.
See Foucault's pendulum. It takes a little bit of mathematical sophistication to run these calculations, but I have done this experiment myself (as an undergrad). It shows quite clearly the earth is spinning. It allows you to show your latitude easily, and if you go to a different latitude you get the predicted results.
There's ultimately a curving downward and away from any position you're at, given enough distance
Have you never watched a boat go over the horizon?
Living by two different oceans for the majority of my life, I have many times.
Foucalt's pendulum is a joke, friend! It may work by calculation, sure, but were the Earth's spin the cause of any movement you would be able to recreate the experiment with no motor or push to start on literally any fixture of propper height. In reality, that doesn't work. The suspended string would just hang there, unmoving, forever.
The second phenomenon is a result of the angular resolution of your eyes. In a flat building of great enough width you will see the ceiling decline and the ground rise to your eye line over a distance. It's not disappearing over a curve - eyes just don't see forever.
It may work by calculation, sure, but were the Earth's spin the cause of any movement you would be able to recreate the experiment with no motor or push to start on literally any fixture of propper height. that doesn't work. The suspended string would just hang there, unmoving, forever.
Foucault's pendulum shows a latitude specific precession of the pendulum. This means depending on what latitude you are at (which part of the rotating sphere you are on) dictates HOW FAST the pendulum precesses around in a circle. If you change latitudes it precesses at a different rate. If you are on the equator, it precesses not one bit. If you are at the north (or south) pole its precession is maximized and it takes exactly one day to go around. And if you are at the north pole it precesses in the opposite direction as the south pole, exactly as you would expect if you were on a spinning sphere..
This is a simple experiment (although not simple to personally travel to all those places). If you (or any flat earther) had ever studied physics or even just math, there would be no more flat earthers.
Firstly, "flat earth," doesn't propose a disk. Secondly, night and day on a flat earth are easily explained in several ways - much more easily than night and day on a ball that continuously arcs and speeds in a variety of directions simultaneously without any ascertainable sensation of motion.
These are all among the first things you'll learn in even a badic 40 minute presentation by even a clown like Eric Dubay - if you haven't gotten past these things, you haven't even looked into the idea yet, m8.
That's right, I haven't. Because nobody has given me a reason to.
Not a disk? OK, what shape?
How are night/day easily explained by flat but not round? Round means that the Sun blocks the light on the opposite side from where the Sun is, and that explains night. Day should be obvious light from the Sun. How does flat explain it better?
A disk assumes space, which neither you or anyone you know has ever been close to, is a real thing.
Remove the outer space programming and look at the world. You're on a textured surface of land where up is up and down is down. The luminaries in the sky are not a product of theoretical nuclear fusion. Actually go outside and look at the stars one night.
Next, take the various movements the Earth is allegedly performing day after day and rectify that with the fact that ancient structures, pyramids and whatnot, where built with constellations in mind - also the stars were already mapped thousands of years ago.
Thousands of years of continuous alignment with the celestial bodies despite going tens of thousands of miles an hour around the sun, while the sun and us go hundreds of thousands of miles an hour around the galactic core and on and on?
Then sit back and realize that basically all of what you know about all this was given to you by completely untestable, unrepeatable means from figures of authority that you are never to question. You should see the same pattern emerging as you've seen across many other areas of waking up.
One model proposes a smaller local sun, the other proposes a 93 million mile distant sun that just happens to be the same size from Earth as the 240,000 thousand mile distant moon.
I’m not saying I believe this model, but one that was thought provoking was that the day/night can still be explained by the sun being much closer and traveling in a circle.
One attempt to model compared the light/shadow to the yin/yang symbol.
Whether the model is correct or not I wouldn’t be surprised if that concept was part of what the yin/yang symbol was supposed to represent.
So Terry Pratchett was right after all, we are sitting on a disc held up by 4 elephants standing on the back of a turtle. Surprisingly this or similar beliefs are in a lot of ancient cultures, including some Australian aboriginal dreamtime stories.
Joan Elizabeth Higginbotham is an electrical engineer and a former NASA astronaut. She flew aboard Space Shuttle Discovery mission STS-116 as a mission specialist and is the third African American woman to go into space, after Mae Jemison and Stephanie Wilson.... ?I met this amazing woman personally and she said "The Earth is round 100% so that should shut the flat earthers up" .?
So, I’ve seen attempts and theories that the sun is closer than we were told, and still travels in a circle which would make sense if we are under a dome.
In that case time zones seem like they would still make sense.
I’ve seen a model that had a possible/plausible explanation for constellation changes witnessed south of the equator but I don’t understand it well enough to summarize it.
In any case, I’m on the fence about it all, but trying to keep an open mind about the concept, since the simplest geometry that should make the answer very clear somehow doesn’t.
Why are you asking for people to convince you the earth is flat on a Q site? You know Q said the earth isn’t flat right?

It's round, Because the MSM and our education system says so. And they wouldn't lie to us.......would they?
It's round because all evidence supports the theory that it is round, and not one single shred of evidence supports a different theory.
Except for all if the examples listed above.
Point them out to me, because I didn't see a single piece of evidence.

Because a logo is 2-dimensional, not 3. They might have a globe in their office.

Antarctica ≈ Anti-Arcing
Arctic ≈ Arcing
So what is arcing either around or “not around” the Arctic and Antarctic respectively?
The Sun
Yes you can visit a couple of the islands but not mainland. The main island that is considered a tourist attraction is called "Deception Island" ?
high altitude advanced balloons
You believe aeroplanes are real, right? Aeroplanes can fly to the edge of space. Aeroplanes can carry other planes that can fly into near space. sigh. I'll certainly entertain the possiblity I'm wrong. But if there is no space, then what is outside your flat earth bubble, or whatever? Nothingness is still something.
Put water in a bowl, after the water settles, does it curve?
We call it the horizon line
Sea lvl
Aero plane
Also something about how the earths curve is .666 degrees.
Shit ia never ending
Truth in plain sight
Also, trust what you see. Not what others tell you to see

Few rings stand out as possibly being the case.
NASA is a billion dollar a year intelligence agency who is full of shit.
The heliocentric model was proposed and accepted hundreds of years before balloons or airplanes existed
Who do the stars circle above our heads with Polaris being the center point.
All religions and civilizations believed the earth was flat until Masonic scientists said otherwise
They’re trying to keep us from our creator and the heliocentric lie is an effective way to say we’re not created
Gravity holds our oceans to the earth while we rotate at 1000 mph on out axis... fighting the infinite vacuum of space... I can’t create a vacuum with my mouth and lungs and drink through a straw..., no issues

Huh, learn something new every day.
Why not question it?
Antarctica? Why would the oceans be empty? Think bowl.
I cant say one way or the other but i do know i see the moon, all day long.
What do you mean by space shots? Nasa photos are all digital renditions, nothing is raw.
Horizon effect could be due to fish eye lenses used to take photos.
Where in the bible does it talk about the globe spinning around?
You are right, 3 genders, male, female, and neutral
Not trying to say im an expert, just dont trust anything anymore
What is "neutral?"
A pencil, it has no gender
& how come a ship can point itself east & eventually end up from west it came? shouldn't it theoretically bump into an ice wall?
The earth is flat, like your head.
