Because I've been on both sides of the fence. I grew up in Christianity and was part of the ministry at 14. Later on, I realized how contrary nominal Christian doctrine and practice was to the Bible.
By the grace of God I saw the blatant error and encountered the REAL risen Lord, who is unlike the one worshipped by the religious institutions of men.
I may not know people personally but I know human nature and the condition of the heart. So did John the Baptizer.
We've all been in wrongness and delusion, my friend. The difference comes when the Lord chooses a vessel and sets them free . He doesn't leave His sheep to suffer falsehoods.
This right here. I, too, learned at a young age that Religion in its many splintered forms....is toxic.
Religion demands you follow the tenets of ritual that particular sect/splinter believes to be true in order to know God. Catholicism and Mormonism are two of the worst offenders in this regard.
What I am NOT saying is that ALL are bad. There are some truly good churches out there with good people that do NOT demand crazy cultitsh rituals to get in them and be repeated continuously. Fact is, its very difficult to find a church, a pastor, and congregation focused on learning of God alone and not pushing some thinly masked Statist bullshit; e.g. Get your Vax, LGBTQ "preachers", do what our politicians say instead of what God demands, etc.
I've told people one thing for a very long time now:
"Believe in God, not Religion. God saves, Religion enslaves."
Maybe we need to find the truth and faith in ourselves...truth and faith that is, for many, rather confusingly, and often ineffectively, communicated through religions with a reference to Christ or the Lord, or projecting it on a strong leader or something outside of us.
Maybe the great awakening is an understanding that the responsibility and ownership of our truth and our power actually lies within US and with US, together and without separation.
Think of it like the Q movement. When you're finally awake, it's impossible to fall back asleep. I see many of us united under this cause despite our differences and the red pill has been amazing but we have yet to swallow the God pill.
How do you know that?

Truth to that, ex mormon here saved by God, Belief in Jesus Christ.
Amen to that shit!
People have let religion take precedence over a real relationship with Christ.
