IMO firmly convinced Red Cross is not what people think it is. I was a computer technician and would get service calls asking for higher service than what was paid for, they paid for 7am to 5 pm service on weekdays, then they would moan and groan to the duty manager for service outside of these hours, which should have been billable. Duty manager always gave in because “it was affecting the nations blood supply”. Once on-site, I would come to find out the servers were backup redundant servers that really had no effect on the blood supply. They did it consistently. Really pissed me off.
Click on immunization/vaccination, then scroll down to where it says COVID-19 in bold. Not promoting the vaccine, just making sure we share accurate information here.
COVID-19 Vaccine and Convalescent Plasma Donor Eligibility Information
Individuals who have received a COVID-19 vaccine are not able to donate convalescent plasma with the Red Cross.
However, these individuals may be eligible to donate other blood products with the Red Cross including whole blood and platelets if they meet other donation eligibility criteria.
I'm a regular blood donor for 15 years. Type O-neg.
I have refused to donate blood since January 2020 when Covid-19 started.
I will NOT until the Covid restrictions and "crisis" is over. Every time the Blood Center calls, I tell them that. No!

Thus the shots eliminate your natural antibodies. Now why would people who already had COVID take a shot when they were already protected?

Ok I found they aren’t accepting plasma donations, but it doesn’t say why: https://www.redcrossblood.org/local-homepage/news/article/covid-19-vaccination-guide-blood-donation.html That took a bit of digging, because it wasn’t anywhere on the eligibility page regarding convalescent plasma. Thank you for pointing that out!
There is one case where you cannot donate:

If it keeps injected people from donating whatever has been injected into them, that's probably a good thing.
If you can't accept blood from vaccinated donors, you can't accept their organs either.
