This is great news! I collected many Unlock Michigan signatures last year.
The State Board of Canvassers is the final gate before hitting the legislator. They're evenly split, have gone with us sometimes, and against us at others. Maybe the sheer number of signatures, and the quickness in which it was done will sway them.
The Board of State Canvassers must certify a voter initiative to repeal the Emergency Powers of Governor Act, the Michigan Supreme Court ruled in a Friday order.
That means that once the board acts on the court's order, the Republican-controlled Legislature can repeal the law with majority votes in each chamber, and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will be unable to veto the measure.
Totally in keeping with the broader Trump doctrine that these things must never be allowed to happen again to another sitting president - all doors that are open to allow fraud need to be closed off and sealed. All loopholes gone, and for good.
A great moment for MI, and smacking down over-reach of powers through contrived and fabricated emergencies.
The 1978 EM Act remains in place, to say nothing of section 331 of the Public Health Act. Plenty of tools at a tyrant's disposal remain intact.
The stalling on the certification of the ballot initiative signatures was a last gasp, desperate attempt to forestall a legislative vote long enough in order to potentially reverse the Court opinion striking down the 45 EM Act as unconstitutional. The 45 Act is insanely broad/ambiguous, and is any tyrant's universal wet dream providing for absolute, indefinite, unilateral authority over "emergencies", without actually defining the term.
That Woman immediately pivoted to the health codes the day after the Court ruled against her, and has never once looked back, turning a "huge win" for patriots into a boon for the long overlooked Health Department.

Although they still need to address health mandates.

That effing deep state ccp rhino is a life long Muppet. Remeber the whole HCQ thing last summer? Banned amd then reversed.
DeWine just needs to be put down, like Jack Hannah put down those animals a few years ago that escaped in Muskingum County. No remorse.

Headline is patently false.
