I believe for me at least I didn't like church because I never understood the messages put out to me I wasn't much of a reader; Also I figured the tellings of the bible seemed fishy to me like the victor in history decides what history is true and what isn't. I personally have a great connection to God and I feel I go more off of being good to those around me. I accepted Jesus in my heart and my mind is my church to God
Just a note on my opinion of church, as a kid, myself and just about every kid I knew was "expected" (forced by guilt) to go to church. How many continued? In my world, maybe 10% - the rest of us stopped going and (again my opinion) did our kids what we thought was a favor by letting them decide on their own whether to pursue "religion" when they were old enough.
Many of my friends and myself have returned to God and /or to church but not many of our grown children have.We didnt do them any favors and that is one of the few regrets I have in my life. God and his teachings are everything.
I was raised in the word of God more so than the "Church" itself. And I have to say of the times I was forced to go to church, it sort of made me hate church. And I believe that's because most churches do not actually follow or teach the word of God. They are comparable to MSM, in that they dont give us the truth. It was when I actually was taught scripture that I came to choose God for myself. Give your children the real word of God and they will come to choose him on their own time.
Thank you for the response. We are trying to make up for lost time, we find the grandkids to being very open to hearing the word. It is very satisfying to see their curiousity.
agreed. for example look at the catholic church before and after the Vatican 2 council in the early sixties - until then they had the traditional latin mass unchanged for 1500 years. then they switched it to bad english translation. church membership and attendance was steady growing until then, when it started dropping like a rock. its easy to see why the latin mass is like the most beautiful thing ive ever seen/heard. it makes you feel a spiritual feeling you dont get many other places. and until then it was abailable every sunday all over the country and world. compare that to the crummy and uninspiring mass of the Novus Ordo (latin for New Order which is what the group that took over the church called itself) and its easy to believe that the church was infiltrated and the mass destroyed on purpose
Excellent advice, AmericanTitan. I have done all those things (except schools, as I do not have school-age children) and I don't know how anybody stays sane if they are still on social media or watching MSM. It seems like they're pretty much designed to make people stupid or crazy (or both).
Time alone outside, time with my animals, in the woods or the garden - these are how I stay sane enough to see what's going on and have my own relationship with God, which is absolutely necessary to maintain my sanity, courage and faith that good will ultimately prevail.
FB and instagram, a evil as they are, I'm sorry, are essential for my business. I've gotten a good 50% of my work / referrals through FB alone. I basically use them for my business and my photography only.
Haven't watched anything on TV, except baseball, since I was a kid. The grooming as a child steered me clear of Agenda Land, and that one I thank my cousin for everyday.
Don't have kids, god damn glad I don't either.
I don't vote. The entire system is corrupt and a lie. The entire system is to keep people in that want to destroy. The entire system has to change.
People get mad at the vote thing, but in Canada, the last 3 federal elections; the number of registered voters who actually vote has been going down each time. I refuse to vote simply due to a lack of a real candidate.
And y'know... Trudope LOST to the other guy by over 110,000 votes. He's still the PM though, right? What's the point.
solid advice all around. thank you for putting it all together in a nice package.

That's amazing. Keep at it with them in a loving way. and maybe through them your children will come around.

Sorry I cannot quit Facebook or Twitter, since I do not have those.
