This looks to be about 7-8 miles outside of Ridgecrest, which is a big time black ops town. A little over a mile away from this is a big large perfect circle of nothing, which is strange. It's not completely nothing. I thought maybe it was an erased area, but its not. It has some detail when you zoom in, including a patch of square something.
Being next to Ridgecrest makes this extra suspicious.
From looking at google earth, it almost looks like oil.

It is a curiosity. It seems like it would just fit into the "opening" of the whatever it is of blackness.
If nothing else it gives a nice sense of scale. The whole thing seems to be about 200ft wide by 350ft long. A curiosity all around.

I'm inclined to think this is a way of censoring things they don't want people to see, better this and 'let them wonder' rather than whatever is actually there.
Someone else posted a google earth link showing an area that had been opaqued in the shape of a circle, which is probably what they do when they are trying to get an entire area to go un-noticed.
Black-out for things small enough to just be one black spot among many and the opaque/blur for stuff that is too large for that to work, doesn't have to be 100% effective as long as there isn't a lot of people that independently of each other notices something, a few dozen people online discussing something is not a concern, hell even it winding up on reddit and getting to the front page isn't a problem as that will pass within a day or 2 if there is no other data beyond the black/blur...
I'm thinking someone needs to start taking a drive with a quality spotting scope hooked up to an SLR, or possibly a FPV racing drone with sufficient range and a directional antenna to allow it to be effectively utilized.........
What does a couple of holes in the sand with one of them partially filled with water have to do with Project Bluebeam? Also, why would they need a boat sitting nearby in the sand?
And you can bet if it was anything they wanted to hide you wouldn't see it on Google Earth.

Look just. 2 miles SSW of the southern tip of that feature, you'll find tanks. I think the tanks are practice targets for Navy aircraft from NAS China Lake to bomb.
This is at China Lake Naval Weapons Center which occupies a large amount of land in the desert outside Ridgecrest CA. A couple years ago there were significant earthquakes epicenters near there that some speculate may have to do with DUMBs.
Seems like the north part is a lined basin and contains water or a liquid of some kind and opposite are the spoils from digging the pit out that are arranged to be a slightly smaller but same shaped pile
If you look on google earth the hole that makes up the black structure is basically identical in size and shape as the hole to the south. Like the south will look identical to the north when finished (assuming that is the intention).

Maybe google would have censored it. It's incomprehensible from the picture, so there is no need to censor it. Censoring would only invite more questions. A visible mystery is less imperative than an invisible, but known one.

Dude, zoom in. It's a freaking pond. Editing to go a bit farther. Boat in the desert? Why. Who fucking knows. But if you zoom in so that you can see that it is a pond, my guess is it is that shape because the pointed section is a boat ramp. Why? Once again, who the fuck knows, but you are freaking people out about a pond. And the empty circle? It's an old farm, look at the area, all the farms are circles because that is how the motorized irrigation systems work.

If it's like a big empty hole at a secretive mil site, then one likely possibility is an EMP test site, to test EMP resistance.
In old mil themed books, I have seen a B-52 sitting atop wooden scaffolding with dug-out surroundings for such testing. It's an outdoor makeshift isolation scheme for testing oversized items. Indoors, an anechoic chamber is used for EM testing.
While the shape is interesting, I’d say that this looks more like a retention pond, where solid wastes are broken down in still water. This particular area is part of Naval Air Station China Lake, (grandpa was stationed there many years ago, but I can’t find any photos, just discharge paperwork). It could also be a cistern or some other water source, there’s a lighter rim around a darker hole, which from a satellite image, is a sign of a change in depth.

Close to Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake California. It is about A mile and a half away.
Probably a weapons test site. You can see some boats on the sand .
