FYI people didn't really accept that initially. From an immersion standpoint, they should be just as vulnerable and it's a video game anyway.
From a personal standpoint, I was worried they'd straight up remove kids from games and lo and behold kids are rarely in games anymore, which is quite immersion breaking.
It doesn't hurt the game per se, but when a game looks nice and invites you to spend time absorbed into its world, you don't want the thought creeping into your head that something idk right because everyone is an accomplished adult.
My son was just laughing at some shrill 9 year old on some game. They are still out there. Thing isnt age..these kids are just left to immerse themselves w the electronic baby sitter. They arent raised. People wanting their own 3rd n 4th childhood just let the kids plug in and go do their own thing. So they just are left in the gaming world unattended ignored and not engaged w reality...where predators lurk. They get in these kids heads. They become what their parents should be and then work on them. Children crave parental attention whether they realize it or not. And the pervs pimp it Get in their heads and twist their minds.
Yeah, I don't remember this being a controversy at all. It just makes sense. I mean, either way, TES:IV had several peeps marked as essential so most of us were fine with that.
