I am highly suspicious of the number of job opportunities. Many of these companies are supporting Biden policy and are flooding the system with phantom and duplicate jobs to inflate the number of job openings and have no intention of fulfilling them. It’s an easy way for them to support the narrative and provide artificial indicators of growth. It’s all bullshit
I am in the tech industry and I know from speaking to recruiters that the number of applicants for jobs is up significantly. Jobs that would solicit 20-30 applicants pre-pandemic are now receiving 400-500 resumes within the first week. This is not an employees market as the number of available workers is way up. We will see corporate consolidations continue to rise Which equates to higher unemployment.
The lower skilled jobs are also inflated in order to justify immigration and open borders while government cheese is dis-Incentivising people from Job search
His speech referenced indicators that no past administration has ever used to quantify the economy and anyone receiving a paycheck for an honest days work will tell you the economy is getting worse, not better.
Corporate America is not our friend and is propping itself up while letting the weaker parts of the body to be consumed by the strong. Your fathers and grandfathers companies (40 hours for 40 years) is long gone because they motivated competition.
I keep hearing the opposite and they say that people refuse to get off the gov tit and work so short staffed operations are causing delays up the ass. This isn't the tech industry tho so that might be the reason you're seeing something different. I actually don't see why employment would change for the tech sector since you guys can work from home and lose little productivity.
