I fully believe that the crowd who was at Trump’s speech was too far away to be at the building before it started.
I also know that Trump clearly delayed starting the speech and he dragged on and on. Which makes me believe, he knew stuff was going to go down.
He also was ready to send troops and Piglosi stopped it. So he had to know something was up.
So why? Why did he sent the people to the capital lawn even after he knew bad stuff was going to go down? It put innocent people in danger and it made Trump supporters into an easy talking point for the lame stream media.
And I haven’t heard him really talk about it much since.
And why is he not fighting to get those folks out of jail? They arrested hundreds of people and to this day many of them are stuck in jail. It doesn’t match up to me. You don’t send people into harms way, let your supporters get jailed, and do nothing about it.
In fact the only behind the scenes video we have is the video of Trump and family laughing it up before the event. What am I missing?
My opinion. He used it declare the insurrection act without alerting left it was really for them.

He said go peacefully, and have your phones out recording. If a patriot went into the capital, it isn't Trumps fault. He knew the DS was planning the insurrection, he said it was going to be "wild". I think the people still locked up are more bad actors than patriots. If all you did was go in, take a picture, and walk out, you're likely still not in jail. If you shit on Pelosi's desk and stole AOC's shoes, you probably still are.

If we weren’t there, antifa dressed as MAGA could have done whatever they wanted! It would have been way worse. I never got the feeling anyone was in harm’s way. The back lawn was completely empty except for the line for the porta potty’s.

Sounds to me he knew there was gonna be some staging. If it wasn't so blatantly obvious peaceful maga folk were there, that would have been the red flag they'd have needed to shut down the country and start going door to door.
Here's the interesting bit. He's not fighting to get them out because there are anqueefa members who have been locked up. If he calls for maga supporters to be released, so go those anqueefa members too. If they just released a few people, they'd have to answer to the Hatch Act.
It appears to me that it was a planned ff, they were going to do it and blame patriots as terrorists. Substantiation for this is proven in the fact that the FBI had infiltrated and instigated groups to try to provoke them to violence. We have seen it in the videos in atnosium. By many being there we can now prove, though it is arduous process, that it was a planned false flag by deep state operatives. Moves and counter moves. Now we can counter the false narrative. Because many of us were there, we scared the he'll out of them, look at the fences. Trump offered the gaurd before hand but they refused it and then contradicted themselves yet again.
I believe we all have choices. No one who is a true Patriot was going to break down doors into the Capital. That is why when you look at videos, the police let people in. They took down barriers and opened the secured doors. Many who believed they were welcomed in and not part of the FF, just wandered around and took some pictures. Anyone who was arrested and is sitting in jail, they will have a trial and evidence will come out. They will be exonerated at that point.
MAGA cameras everywhere. Also, there did appear to be an operations team doing something; possibly stealing Pelosi’s laptop. There is a video out there of a group of men in a stairwell saying something like “we’re not here for that” (the protest, insurrection, whatever) Shenanigans on multiple fronts are likely.

I think as a reason to get more national guard there. He is the one who ordered the multitude of troops to be stationed there for the inauguration. You know how many Patriots would have been there and actually stormed the castle had there not been 40,000 troops there.

For the record, Trump told us (the people at the rally, at the Ellipse) that after the rally we would all walk together down to the Capitol.
I have a screenshot saved of the schedule that included three events: Jan 5 @ 1pm, Freedom Plaza. Jan 6 @ 9am, The Ellipse. Jan 6 @ 1pm, Capitol Bldg.
Trump was over an hour late to his speech at the Ellipse. I'd imagine that he did that intentionally. Antifa started their BS according to the timeline of when the patriot crowd was anticipated to arrive... but since we were delayed it was clear to see that it was Antifa there, starting their BS, by over an hour before the crowd arrived.

At the end of his rally speech (not the beginning) he said that we would all walk peacefully down to the Capitol together. I was standing right there listening, about 50 yards from him when he said that. Then he wrapped up his speech, left the stage, and the crowd slowly started leaving to the walk to the Capitol.
Later (a couple hours after the end of the rally) he went online to tell people to remain peaceful and go home.
To be honest, I'm having a hard time trying to figure out why you're claiming that "he never told supporters to go to the capitol building" when he absolutely did, you can watch the speech. He specifically said that we would go there PEACEFULLY, that's why the (second) impeachment didn't stick, because he never did or said anything whatsoever to incite violence... There's no reason to lie about what happened, he's innocent.
I read the transcript. It was something like “Let’s walk down Pennsylvania Avenue.” Not quoting verbatim, but I feel like the implication was there.
