Think about it. Florida is cracking down on everything the people want them crack down on, the people in Florida are revolting against the democrats to the point that Florida is probably not going to be a swing state anymore in the near future. Trump is the current face of MAGA, but people like Desantis are the future of MAGA. Likewise, Desantis is constantly promoting Traditional Christian American values, while pushing for everyone to learn about the evils of socialism and communism.
Likewise, Texas is currently fighting for the strictest voting laws in the nation. Even more strict than the Georgia laws everyone through a fit over earlier this year. The left is doing literally everything they can to avoid letting it pass. I mean, look at this crap where they're fleeing to DC to try to prevent it. These idiots are going to end up arrested, and possibly jailed, thus resulting in new elections for all of their seats.
Why is that important? Well, besides the obvious, it's a redistricting year. Texas is going to gerrymander the ever loving crap out of the districts of these people, which, when combined with the public outrage from their actions (it's also apparently been an eye opener for lots of liberals since they looked into the laws and found out they support them all if the posts on here are to be believed.), and the apparent clean up of election corruption in Texas since McAllen has had fair elections for the first time in a century, these idiots are going to probably lose their seats to GOP opponents.
That's just the first part as to why Texas is important though. They'll probably lose some senate seats from all of this too, which is exactly what happened a decade ago when the Texas GOP got a supermajority in the state legislature after they fled to New Mexico in order to try and prevent the GOP takeover of Texas in the early 2000's. Once the Texas GOP get's a supermajority, they can pass state constitutional amendments, and the Texas GOP platform has one REALLY big thing they want to do different from every other state.
They want to implement a state level electoral college for all elections outside of local races based on on the federal electoral college with the votes proportioned to counties and precincts (in the case of massive population centers like Houston and DFW). That would be game changing. The reason they want to get rid of the electoral college at the federal level is because it makes it EXTREMELY hard to cheat. look at the effort they had to put in the last election, and even then no one believes them and knows they cheated. Imagine if every state in the union had a similar system? Their entire fraud machine would crash and burn.
So I honestly think Texas and Florida are being used to prototype the future of post Deep State America, with every state having multiple levels of security against fraud, every politician preaching loving God and Country, and every school teaching children to love their country and hate communism.
To be honest, good observation and you worded it perfectly. Sometime you have to remind yourself that this is a slow grind and a change of life/perspective. We are rewiring states and people to believe in America first, and it isn't done overnight. We will continuously go state to state and help each other overcome this darkness to get to the light. Texas Gov is doing what he's doing now because it's election season, nothing more and nothing less. How conveniently people forget the utter bullshit he was pulling in Texas during the scamdemic. He knows the jig is up and a RINO's gonna do what a RINO knows best: posture for brownie points.
I’ll take his half-baked efforts over the likes of Newsome or Whitmer any day of the week. However, my vote for the next TX governor will not be for him. I like Col. West.
