I’m in the market for a new phone and this piqued my interest. I’m going to spend some time today searching-out reviews. Any input would help many of us I’m sure?
I want a non CIA phone, I think the smartest route is to get just a phone, not a smart phone, and then carry a device to access the internet via Wifi which is not tied to your SIM card so they can tie you to your location, etc...
I scanned the gateway pundit article for discussing what os it is really running (or at least what the base or was that they customized and built upon).
Anyone have a link to spec sheet that details all relevant details?
I was waiting for the Linux phones to get a little further along in development, but this could be a better alternative for my next purchase of things check out.
Works with Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, & Sprint. Move phones over in 60 seconds as soon as the phone arrives.
I don't want to put down the product but the fact is that the way we are headed it is only a matter of time before AT&T, T-Mobile & Sprint will decide Freedom Phone owners are white supremacist domestic terrorists and cut off your service. They will probably do it staggered so that you get screwed three times as you get cut-off and switch providers.
Great read. I wanna new Linux phone!!! Seriously tho, the quick rise of that company and their huge sales show that the Android/iOs markets create wanted competition. Especially today.
"Freedom Phone" huh? Honeypot.
FreedomOS is built from OxygenOS which is built by a Chinese company for their non China markets.
Yeah; I just did that research. Dang, I wanna new Linux phone!!!
Providing. But this also feels like a honeypot
Honeypot.
im very close to just smashing my phone and cancelling my cell service, getting a non wifi router and just hard wire the net in my home. fuck em

Please post the links if you find any. Everything I found was at least 5 years old.
Will do, might take a while.

Take a look at some of the fresh Comments here. I’m thinking otherwise. However, I’ve been waiting for that Linux alternative too 👍🏽

Interdasting, indeed 👍🏽
The man behind the Freedom Phone is Erik Finman.
Finman? Dual citizen? I’m not interested.
