If you really can grasp the concept of positive performance and positive language:

If you find that paying this amount suits you, by all means, do it and pay. There is no ambiguity to it, no expectation of getting of the hook by not getting caught. And the owner of the plot is the one empowered.

"Thou shalt NOT have strange Gods before me, make an image, covet thy neighbor's wife, or anything he possesses, etc.

There are two with positive language: Thou shalt keep holy the sabbath, and honor thy father and mother.

Question: what exactly is holy?

In the relationship between the day and holy means to keep it hole by instead of performing work, you relax, play with your kids. Have a nice chat with the wife. drink a cup with the neighbor.

However, holy is also differently applied. So, that word is rather ambiguous and differs from situation to situation and tradition and culture force a certain behavior.

See for instance Exodus 19, the first few verses. There Holy means clean clothing. However, in verse 15 Moses adds: to not come onto their wives.

I guess missionary was prohibited, what about reverse cowboy? The language leaves wide open: OPINION.

In other words: 10 commandments as they are written in a contractual sense, and I will stress this again, it is not about moral questions, but a contractual language, are simply rubbish, goobledigook, fictional language, and fraudulent by perversion of language.

However ......if stated differently:

For the man is with the honoring of the father and the mother. For the knowledge of the man is with the live and the truth and faith of the facts. For the knowledge of the man of the Sabbath-day is with the cease of the work.

Something like that. 3 maybe 4 rules, nothing more.

Which means, if you read Proverbs, it is all about being with the knowledge. Once you obtain that, by getting closure on differing topics, you act in line with what you know to be fact in a correct manner.

The language is a bit quirky, because it is framed in the NOW space of time.

Think of it as a book with an odd 25 billion pages. You ARE on one of those pages. That is your world. And it is in the NOW that you ARE, but also it is in that NOW where the FACTS ARE.

Our thinking in terms of past and future is fictitious. The past is gone and done. The future has not come to pass. Both do not exist. Yet our thinking and emotions about it make it seem so.

When you think in these terms about sacrifice under the Mosaic law, as Paul writes, there is a constant reminder of a past sin. The past is important. Even in The Law it says:he punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.’ (Number 14:18)

It is often explained from a viewpoint that consequences may visit upon multiple generations, but that is not what Paul writes.

In that sense is the concept of redemption through the blood of Jesus interesting as the payment for all sins, past and future, which, giving his teachings, keeps us in the NOW. e.g. who can add a day to his life by being worried? or: consider the lilies; give us today our daily bread. And bring us not into temptation but liberate us from evil, meaning the focus is on right action.

This is the underlying principle of syntax parse grammar. Be with the knowledge in the NOW and act correctly. It totally harmonizes also three major spiritual traditions: Christendom, Hinduism, and Buddhism (and to some degree Shintoism) as all 3 / 4 are about right action in the NOW leading to enlightenment without being syncretic because it looks to contracts.

Contracts are based on commerce. Consider in this sense the flowchart with all the actions when responding to a request to hand the salt at the dinner table.

The Request is uttered and directed at you. You hear it, meaning, the mechanism to transport the thought is through voice, thus frequency. This medium is transported through your ear into your brain.

You then, at hearing it, allow it to dock, you inspect it contents and you decide whether you allow the request to stand and agree or deny. That is acting as the POSTMASTER of your world.

Let's assume the request is followed by agreement, meaning, the coming together of two minds, volition plays a role.

Do you want to be lazy, or do you want to be playing a prank?

Then when you agree to honor that request, a contract comes into being.

You look for the salt, identify it to be the correct vessel to transport, you dock it into your hands, make a considered move and hand it over to the requestor, your counter party in this contract. However, before the requestor takes it from you, the performance is inspected.

In both your brains a bill of lading has been established. Your vessel, containing what you know to be the salt, will only be docked at the requestor's port (hand) when the bill of lading is ok-ed. If the vessel contains sugar, you will be notified of that. Meaning, you are hearing that you did not perform according to contract.

Once the vessel is docked, the requestor then proceeds to unload. Or, expects you to complete the performance, by first establishing that you both are with the knowledge of the right vessel containing the salt instead of the sugar. That means, you both are discussing the topic, thus getting closure on the facts in the NOW.
