TheQStrategy mostly plagiarized research content from 8kun anyway and passed it off as their own "research". It was pretty pathetic to be honest. I guess GAW users just don't use 8kun enough to know/see this as it's surprising no one ever called them out on it.

I realized recently that I'd gotten to the point where it doesn't stop me from sifting through to find the good stuff.

The term "famefag" is a thing because of "famefags". TQS definitely acted like a "famefag". No question about it.
It's one thing to present information. It's another to claim others' work as your own. TQS did the latter and, combined with their demeanor and how they interacted with others that challenged the post or opinion, they were definitely under the "famefag" umbrella.
It's good that TQS shared disseminated information aggregated from 8kun.
It's bad that TQS tried to take Notables from 8kun's qresearch threads and pass them off as their own here on GAW. If the account weren't deleted, this could be easily demonstrated going through bakes and timestamps. I always enjoyed the "...my and other anons' research..." in the titles or comments when it happened too.
Thank you for the virtue lecture but at the end of the day, TQS was an obnoxious, condescending, sanctimonious plagiarist that let their fragile ego be known when just about anyone didn't agree with them or jerk them off. TQS was about 3 months from becoming a Paytriot.
Just because I never liked what they did doesn't mean you have to subscribe to it. I'm just calling a spade a spade. Am I Pretty close, "/u/AllMostThere"? lol
Regardless of all of that, I would still have a beer or a whatever with TQS. WWG1WGA - But that doesn't mean we have to hide behind disingenuous sanctimony the way TQS did, especially when all they were really good for was copy/pasting from 8kun to GAW.
You're not jerk, Roofie. You have some humility, you have a sense of humor, and you display emotional stability. You are not sanctimonious. There's a few differences.
If he was sharing good quality 8kun content then good for him. He always kept it relevant to Q and provided high quality info and reminders. If you are trying to insinuate he was a famewhore then you are wrong.
And feel free to point me to one instance where you "called him out on it".

I felt he was fairly diligent in giving credit to things he reposted that deserved credit, and I take "journalistic quotation" fairly seriously.
Not every meme, graph or shower thought requires full citations. IMO, his behavior in this regard was acceptable, especially given his output.
