Yeah, herd immunity in terms of vaccines is completely bullshit and i don't particularly like the term myself because it is dehumanizing. I was just talking about the body having it's own natural immune system to fight off infections and then having a higher tolerance for it later as a result. So it doesn't make them as sick if infected again with the same thing, and once a certain amount of the population is resistant it becomes less of an issue as more are resistant from exposure. Vaccines don't really do that because from my experience they make you more sick when exposed to wild viruses or cause a new strain themselves or have "side effects" (probably intended most of the time) worse than the disease itself.
