So woke states are now BANNING gaming PCS for power reasons?! Are they preparing something or what?

But electric cars are OK?
For now. Consider:
Step 1: Force everyone to switch to electric cars
Step 2: Restrict the electricity so that you can only go to work and home.
Step 3: No can flee because they have no transportation
Cut off your power if you don't meet a certain social credit score.
They have commercials running with children "daring us to go all electric, faster"
Nothing insidious about that...
Gas
They can already shut down many of the vehicles remotely; even the gas ones.
Great point. You could run a gaming PC for a month with the amount of power needed to charge an electric car. I love my plug in hybrid so I don't want to give them any ideas
Your hybrid is worse for the environment than a gas car, also that money you save on gas goes bye-bye when you have to replace your batteries. Not to mention everyone calls you gay.
LOL I know you probably meant to offend me but I enjoyed your reply very much.
I have no illusions about my car. I have no illusions that I'm saving the planet or that I'm even saving money.
I love my car because it is cool. I love my car because I don't have to pump gas.. All I have to do is plug it in when I get home. In the winter this is a great feature. I only need to go to the gas station about once a month.
My car can also go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds.
So call me gay all day long.
gay gay gay
while I dust your ass at the traffic light.
:)
For whatever reason, liberals seem to hate plug in hybrids more than gas engines. My guess is that the solution solves a problem ... Typical commutes are all electric thus reducing pollution around cities. You can switch to gasoline mode for road trips. A PHEV like a RAV4 Prime is almost an ideal vehicle for those reasons alone! :-)
Of course, the perpetually angry libtards hate them ... They claim that everyone that drives them never use them in electric mode. I find it amazing that they somehow know this.
I'm hoping to get one soon. I think Primes will be a hell of a lot easier to get later next year. Also, my workplace has plug in stations ... I wouldn't spend a dime to get to and from there on those days I have to be there. Battery replacement costs 5 years from now should be a hell of a lot less too.
I'm really hoping for kits to convert anything to phev ... I'd love to be able to take something like an old VW Beetle or a Honda Element and make it into a PHEV ... there's something slick about taking an older car and bringing it back to life with state of the art technology. I'd love to do that to a muscle car, but I think many fans of those cars would throw bricks at me if I showed up at a meet with an electrified 68 Dodge Charger :-) .
I guess if all you do is drive around town that's great. Because I'm sure you only get about 40% of your range when you're dusting people all day. They can be powerful but there are far too many downsides to them being a practical vehicle for 99% of people. Thus making them gay in my opinion. Electric cars will be the future if hidden tech is given to the public but until then they will always be behind gas cars in terms of reliability and cost efficiency.
