I haven't heard it but I read an article where Dexter says that he's avoided politics all these years so he's making his first political album (aka, anti-Trump album).
Parada released a detailed statement explaining that for pre-existing medical reasons he refuses to take the vaccine, yet this has led to him being deemed “unsafe” to be around in recording studios or on the road.
In a Twitter thread, Parada stated “Given my personal medical history and the side-effect profile of these jabs, my doctor has advised me not to get a shot at this time.”
Parada wrote that “I caught the virus over a year ago, it was mild for me – so I am confident I’d be able to handle it again, but I’m not so certain I’d survive another post-vaccination round of Guillain-Barré Syndrome, which dates back to my childhood and has evolved to be progressively worse over my lifetime. Unfortunately for me, (and my family – who is hoping to keep me around a bit longer) the risks far outweigh the benefits.”
Sounds like a well spoken guy. Lots of respect for standing his ground. Really shows that even having a medical history and advice from a doctor isn't enough.
The natural immunity stuff is just too sloppy from the DS. They clearly just want us dead.
It can't be an easy decision knowing that finding a gig in another band that doesn't also require the jab is going to be increasingly difficult. Best wishes for him and his family. I suspect many of us are going to find ourselves in this position as the economic pressure is increased.
Not a huge loss to me. Loved the Offspring when I was a teenager and now that I am an adult I see there was nothing about them that was nonconforming or punkish. Yeah. Slaves to the cabal. Nothing more disgusting to me.

I went through all stages of greef and have reached acceptance ever since I realized last year that literally everything I knew was a lie. It is especially hilarious concidering I was born in USSR and I remember how we felt when Soviet Union collapsed and we believed the West is all about freedom. Back then I watched american action movies from the 80ies and listened to the punk bands believing it was for real. Was I naiive
Incorrect. First off, The Offspring is not a punk band. I would classify it as a punk-inspired mainstream rock band. Secondly, real punk was very anti-establishment and libertarian. See: Johnny Rotten (Lydon), The Clash, Crass, Rudimentari Peni, and T.S.O.L as examples. The fact that some punkers have embraced soyness in their later years (Mike Ness, NoFX, Green Day, etc.) is just testament that liberals never concoct original ideas of their own but merely co-opt them and rebrand them but keep the original words.
