Today decided to have lunch at Potbelly in the Lombard area. Despite a "mask recommended" sign on the door: all but one employee were maskless, all the plexiglass is gone, and even the hand sanitizer station at the door was gone. Most customers were free-breathing as well including some nursing staff out on their lunch break.
Continued observations that most here don't care about "muh delta variant".
Hello from St. Charles! It’s nice to know there are sane people nearby!
I was just in St. Charles a few weeks ago.
Frens are everywhere, the hard part is spotting them.
I am in the River North area of Chicago :)
Niles in the hizzous!!!!
Dekalb County Fren here. No fucks were given about Covid most places here. We have a few of your standard geriatric retards wearing masks at the grocery store but everyone else is just living their life.
cut the geezers some slack. they are the weakest of our society.
I would if they weren’t such Karens about it towards others not wearing masks. I’m pretty live and let live, but the folks in the masks are definitely not.
agreed
Lollapalooza KILLED the lie. Beatlejuice amplified the event by appearing and speaking at it. Dumb bug eyed freak.
I haven't heard about any hot air out of Prickster recently, maybe he's actually worried about being re-elected.
God Bless our black countrymen. Don't know if there's a black community there, but blacks are the lowest % clotshotted in our nation. They may end up leading the way to true liberty.
My mom was born and raised in the West Chicago suburbs. West High Lake area. The old homestead was passed down to her sister. We would come back annually for the week of 4th of July to see all our cousins... (we had moved down south to NVA in the early 60's from Kankakee). Good memories. Still have some cousins who live up in that area.
Homestead was sold years ago after my aunt passed away. All my aunts and uncles are gone now. The last and youngest of them died just a year ago.
In the West Suburbs as well. Same experience where I am. Excellent to see!!!!
