I read Jack Posobic state that his sources from inside the White House confirmed severe restrictions and lock downs in US scheduled for mid august. I need other sources confirming this because we (whole family) need to know if we need to do the “panic buying” before others do the panic buying. And if we need to invest in a large freezer

Anyone not stocking up to avoid shortages, hasn’t been paying attention.
There is zero downside to having a few months of things you need on hand. Just pay attention to expiration dates and rotate through things.
If you’re going to invest in a freezer, invest in a generator.
Yeah dry and canned is probably best.
A tip for freezing: clean and fill 2 plastic liter bottles with water and freeze them in every available space in your freezer. Gives you water and will maintain food longer in case of power outage. Generators are great but they do take fuel to stay running. Collect jars and lids and prepare to can everything in your freezer if you have to. Have a couple of canning books on hand or download and print from internet.
Just got back from Costco. I'm ready. I live in a red county in a blue state. We are fully expecting something sooner than later.
Increased chance of a happening next week (see pic below). Regardless, you should always have a stockpile of food and necessities for emergencies and sudden shortages. It really doesn't hurt to stock up even if nothing happens next week. It'll all get used eventually.

That’s the same photo I shared, but is anyone else talking about it??
I'm not sure if there are other sources. At least one's that would be credible enough. If it concerns you that much, do what you think is best. Best case scenario, you're well prepared and don't have to worry. Worst case, you won't need to go grocery shopping for a while.
It seems there has been an effort to spark panic buying for three weeks now. Yes we should all be stocked up. So hopefully we are and don’t go empty shelves. Panic buying just makes a manufactured crisis seem real to people. That’s why this narrative is being pushed.
I’ve noticed that as well. I haven’t really gone out and bought a ton of stuff at once, I’ve just spent the last 6 months buying a little more than I need when it’s been on sale and when the expiration dates are far enough out.
If you have pets don’t forget to keep a bit of their food on hand also.
Had a friend teach me about pressure canning. Good way to keep food.
Uhm yes do the shopping now. For weeks I stopped wearing the mask on the super strict and liberal east coast while working for woke mega Corp and got away with it.
Since yesterday my boss told me, and a group text went out saying since the CDC changes to mandates and guidelines since July 27th employees and workers must mask back up. People are PISSED many not wearing them in protest.
This looks like it’s leading up into two weeks customers will be “required” once again and I’m sure all the insane rules on public gathering will be in effect.
Good luck with the freezer. Appliances are in strict demand. I just replaced my freezer and it took over a month of constantly calling multiple places every day before we found one. You can get a few small ones. But I only had room for 1 large freezer.
Panic buying isn’t the best solution because you often buy what you don’t need and stores won’t be able to replace quick enough for others. When you shop pick up maybe a couple more of what you use. Keep building then replace as you go. Powder milk is always good to have on hand. A 3 month supply of what you use regularly is a good goal but not all at once, don’t go into debt for it. Slowly but long term as well but make sure you can store it adequately. Whole wheat is good because it last a long time but flour not so much. Rice, beans all the long term stuff is cheap so yeah, bulk buy. Stale flour is gross. Plan it out so you don’t wast your money or resources. Think about space as well. Having long term quick meals, like MREs are good especially if you have to take and run, many have buckets of meals. Research, not just for now but for the future, any issue could arise. Preparation, that’s what my church has thought forever. The LDS church has great resources and you can buy from them. Lots and lots of farms.
I have no intention of complying. My church will not comply either (per previous conversations with the pastor).
